Do SX riders get tested for weed?

Just curious lol. (It really doesn’t matter either) but I see multiple riders who smoke regularly. Do they get tested? Maybe once before the first race?

Lol why is that?😂 I just figured that they probably don’t test for THC. I asked my buddy who’s a pro mech and he wasn’t sure.

Athletes are usually pretty lean, and THC is stored in your fat cells, so unless they are smoking a lot, and right before the test, it's not coming up positive.

Stank,team fried (anderson), have heard some things about the bakers factory etc. I have no problem with it just curious how they make it so obvious yet never fail etc.

In Illinois....smoking weed is legal. No more negative judgements from the drinkers. If one of the riders smokes....no big deal. Let's not draw attention to them.

How would weed be performance enhancing?..... "It's cool man, you can pass me. It's beautiful out here"

I use it to have more fun when trail riding but I can't imagine heading to the gate while being high from a gummy...
