No worries, my bad assumed with the M. I wasn’t out here calling him a choke artist or even saying he choked at all. People can take it for how they want but what in the hell do I have to gain by lying about some trivial bullshit like that. I was surprised it happened honestly.

Coming from someone who generally likes both riders, is Marchbanks supposed to race him different than anyone else on the track just because he is in the points race and/or was injured from his plethora of wrecks over the last week? McAdoo showed a ton of heart going like he did but if he was cross jumping like Marchbanks said, is he not supposed to put a move like he would anyone else? I haven't seen video evidence of cross jumping but I think all of us saw McAdoo riding with way less control than normal (understandable after those crashes). To me McAdoo chose to line up and race and shouldn't be rolled over to just because of what he went through over the course of Atlanta. Riders do this all the time and half praise it while half don't. Perfect example was when Tomac rammed Webb in the Heat race at Daytona for riding him like that. I really think all this heat is because McAdoo earned a ton of support over this week from all of us, with the help of Feld pumping Mac up, and nobody likes when their favorite rider gets taken out. We know that will be in their 250 highlight reel of McAdoo for years to come. I just hope it all blows over and both riders learn from this week.

I rewatched the mains last night, rewound a few times to watch the lap(s) between McAdoos crash in the whoops with Hammaker and getting blasted by Marchbanks. The only thing I saw that could be claimed as cross jumping was McAdoo moving slightly over in the long rhythm after the whoops, and Marchbanks appeared to check up on the rhythm he was initially intending on jumping. The next 180° Marchbanks put that move on him.

Dumb move by Marchbanks, but he owned it so all good. I’m sure cam will return the favor and all will be right.

I’m with you, but I don’t believe McAdoo wanted anything to do with battling at that point in the race. Maybe I’m off, but I don’t think he would have made it hard for Garret to get by lol

How many times this year alone have we missed passes alone? Do you think the camera catches every aspect of the race? Hell, if the AMA was intelligent they would have each rider wear go pros for evidence lol. But Marchbanks mentioned Atlanta and all the rounds.

Hunter Lawrence also mentioned Cameron was all over the place and pretty wreckless. Understandable being in that position. Just giving a different riders insight allows a little bit of perspective.

Many need to put down the pitchforks and torches.

Anyone on this board that can honestly say they weren’t fed up with someone’s repeated shit all day...and gave it back to them, (aka got aggressive and made contact) is either lieing or never really raced competitively at an amatuer level.

That’s our sport. Holy shit. It’s been like that forever. EVERY pro, hero or villain engages in that on-track judgement. It’s built into our sport. It’s never going anywhere. You dish out some shit, expect to get it back. And yet fans are still mad.

I get your point here, but exactly what did mcadoo give out to marchbanks?? Other than marchbanks being pissed off about getting booted from PC there was absolutely zero reason for that. The guy did it clearly as a fuck you to PC. No matter what way you look at it, it was 100% a bitch move.

C’mon Man! I think your reading into something more than you should. You aren’t sure what was in Marchbanks mind. Instead your placing your opinion as fact because you BELIEVE it to be such. Cameron was going to be back in points already. Garret certainly didn’t wreck Macadoos championship chances. Cameron did that on his own.

Anyone defending Marchbanks on this, is a tool. He destroyed everything mac had accomplished since his first heavy hit with that blatant take out. The political PR stuff is bullshit too. I was a fan of Marchbanks, but he lost my respect on this one.

McAdoo would have left the 2nd turn in 1st if Marchbanks wouldn't have blatantly taken him high in the berm. Instead he left in 4th or 5th from memory. Then the next week he throws a bonsai pass, a sure attempt to take him out. The press release is nice and has some pretty good excuses in it but I'm not buying it. He took him out on purpose plain and simple. To bad he doesn't have the balls to admit it. Instead he has some bs press release full of excuses and down talking the rider he took out. What a phony.

Marchbanks made a poor decision on track and has (half-assed) acknowledged it. He is 19 and will learn from this.

Most of us have f@#ked up along life's long journey and for that reason I can't hold grudges.

SLC next, new race, new leaf....let looks ahead and enjoy the next chapter.

Off topic, we need more of these bigger SX tracks. Atlanta was refreshing.
