The shape he appears to be in now, I'd love to see him give it another go outdoors. Not out of the question Yamaha could go 1-2-3 at a few Nationals this year if he suited up.

Really impressive with Mookie this season.
First off I thought the move to Yamaha wasn’t the best one, but he proved me totally wrong.

He seems to be in a good and happy place, and got his fitness on point.

I really would love to see him get his first podium this year. Would he well deserved right?

18” seems to be about the limit for my tastes but with the right low profile tire they are pretty awesome.

I don't think i've seen one with the long rear end like that, maybe only coupes have made their way down here? I'm not a muscle car aficionado though, but that looks great.

I'm a fan of what Malcolm has accomplished especially considering his career path. I'd say he's more deserving of a factory ride now more than he was after that championship. I really hope he can get a win this season. That would be very entertaining.

Corporate Yamaha has to have a mix of excitement and disgust with how this season is going for the YZ450F Star team. Excitement that the guys are doing very well and the bike is performing. Disgust that they let McCarty and co ruin so many chances in the past for this bike to excel. Here's to Mookie continuing to improve and eventually getting a win! 👍👍

Interesting too that Mookie, Plessinger & Ferrandis aren't bitching and moaning about the Yamaha not being anything but a great bike. Seems like almost every rider the bike has ever had has complained about it...throwing wood on the fire that the bike is the "Blue Pig" and basically uncompetitive and unraceable.

Are you aware that he came down with Rhabdomyolysis in 2014? This is about as serious a condition as you can get as an athlete. It is potentially FATAL. When the Doc tells you that you could die...it does put a damper on things. Since then, no more Nationals for Malcolm.
