Looking at the shock shaft on mine, seems to be thicker (18mm?) than the one on my 2018. Is this the same for the 2021 crf450r as well or just works edition?

16mm on the standard 2021 450r, the 2021 rwe has a 18mm shaft.

I actually found a new 2021 WE from Cycle Trader. I’m picking it up Saturday. I did have to call about 8 dealers first but I just looked it up on Cycle Trader and went down the list calling each dealer.

Cycle trader has 109 450 RWE ‘s listed for sale. Who knows if they actually have the bikes.

No they all are not available. But it does give the name and number for many places to call and see if by chance they have it in stock. I got lucky and found one in the crate not taken yet in AZ. As far as standard R models Chaparral told me they have 2 coming in the end of January.

Ok guys, TDR Motorsports in Mogadore Ohio has the tunes ready to roll for the works edition! He will be tuning an R here soon as well. If you have a WE and youre on the east coast, this could be a much quicker (and likely cheaper) alternative than sending your ecu across the country.

You can see the dyno chart on TDR's instagram. The proof is in the pudding.

I did get my bike. I did not buy it at the dealer where I had originally put money down on an R. That shop still hasn't gotten an R. I ended up buying from Five Star in bedford PA. Had no intentions on buying a WE either but... Let's just say they treated me too well not to. Lol..

That's awesome Meister! I've been following your whole ordeal since you sold your 17. Don't ever only stick to one dealer, there's always another one that can offer something better. I know you probably aren't riding in Ohio right now as I have family in Akron/Green but, ride report when possible.

Will likely make a run south here before too long.

I'm right near green actually. Just east of the akron canton airport.

I was giving the original dealer the benefit of the doubt, and I still don't think the issue was on their end. The guy I talk with is a good guy and has helped me in the past.
