Since our girls are grown up, our family does the unconventional dinner on Christmas Eve, opening of presents etc. afterwards. We then have a few wobble pops and then sleep in on Christmas Day!

Bacon wrapped filets, lobster tail, twice baked 'taters and asparagus on the grill.

This is our Christmas breakfast tradition. 24 hour omelette and Christmas potatoes. My Grandpa always made the omelette and my wifes Grandma always made the potatoes. Now its our turn to carry it on!

We’re doing a pork rib roast tonight for Christmas dinner. We bought the full pork loin then I cut it down to just the rib roast, almost like a prime rib for pork. Seasoned yesterday, put in the fridge for 30 hours, then just brought it out to warm a bit before roasting.

Doing a super simple (which is a constant theme in my preps) herb and garlic rub to let the pork flavor really shine. Having a rib roast, this cut is naturally juicy and very flavorful, more so than a standard pork loin roast.

That looks amazing. I didn't take pictures, but I made tacos, homemade guacamole, and Mexican rice which was a success. I even coated the hard shells with refried beans and wrapped flour tortillas around them for something a bit different. It was a bit laid back, but I got to spend time with my kids and we all enjoyed some good food. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Merry Christmas!
Christmas eve was Spiny lobsters, shrimp, standing rib roast, sweet potatoe casserole, stuffed shrooms, stuffing, potatoes and a questionable amount of champagne. Didn't get the best pics. Someone filmed a bit of hilarious singing and we got the giant keyboard like in the movie Big so I'm most likely going to have to bribe someone for that footage lol it was good times and good food. lol

Christmas day was Turkey, greenbean casserole, Very Good Foods Beast, mashed potatoes, macs and vegetable casserole... pumpkin pie.

I do a meatloaf with a woven bacon mat. I find using good bacon like Wright's is key!

Cooked a boneless prime rib roast from Costco. Turned out great! Usually I cook the bone-in roast. Went with boneless this year and very happy with it!

Did a blueberry French toast casserole on the Traeger this morning. Sorry, the pic is after everyone started digging into it.

We made French toast Christmas Eve. Usually we do a turkey or something but this time we just kept it simple.
