When you had a plug to start your bike, and then changed it to a race plug.

I remember when it wasn't a "rich man's sport." When you hauled your bike to the track on a bumper rack or open rail trailer and no one cared. You could wear padded denim motocross pants that were cheap and no one cared. Your bike can have homemade mods and experiments, and no one cared.

Cutting a sticker ad out of MXA, circling the ones you wanted, putting a few bucks and quarters into an envelope, mailing it and actually getting the stickers back in the mail?

People suing a track because they forgot to tighten their bar clamps and crash on a single to table that PW50s cleared

Those little bikes were truly special. Soooo far ahead of their time, aluminum tanks, rims, unique exhaust setup with no tail pipe..... and a top end scream that was borderline frightening. Wish our family still had ours.

The timing was so close to TDC on the Husky, it happened a lot.
It sounded different, so I could tell, but I had some fun when friends did it and were unaware. 😁

I had a Hodaka with the chrome toaster gas tank that did that once, I'll let your imagination picture what happened when I released the clutch Smile

Remember adding a mud flap to your front fender or laying down your shocks or cutting your own numbers out of a sheet of vinyl or covering your bikes graphics and numbers with clear vinyl to protect them?
