When there were only a few classes, your raced forever in 3 motos per class and there were 700 plus racers each weekend at the races.

Tech inspection before racing. You rolled your bike through and they checked the function of key items and gave you a sticker if your bike was race ready. Spokes/brakes/throttle/etc.
