Oh stop it !! Put down that beer and get hone to your wife, the bartender is tired of your ass already anyways Tongue

I can’t judge the ‘21 AER forks, because I haven’t ridden with them (and don’t want to....)
But I don’t give a shit what you do to them, they aren’t going to work like my CV forks do, that’s for sure ! Wink

I’ll bring a bike with the new stiff out...it’s pretty damn nice.

While I’m a fan of the GasGas deal, they need to stop with the huge branding, it reminds me too much of this...

Congrats on the rock star bike. Mine was only a few bucks more than the regular fc, and a lot less than a lot of people are paying for the new honda.... the Rockstar bike comes with some really nice upgrades.

I will say, rhe bright red does look bitchen on the gas gas tho.

As for the 2020.5 and newer air forks, the updated mid valve is much better and easier to tune.
Yea I'm looking at the 21.5 and can't find any information on the suspension because no test riders have any reviews out.

Then you need to have your cone valves properly set up.

But I can tell you first hand that the 2021 Xact fork on the Gas Gas and KTM have had a significant breakthrough in how well they work in chop as compared with 2020 and earlier versions, BUT you have to take the OEM tuning spec and throw it right in the trash. I got to try the 21 GG 450 today at Cahuilla for a couple laps, and the bike is pretty good in stock trim.

Ive been trying different settings on the stock 2021 KTM Air Fork fork since august, and Kris Keefer's fork settings are doing pretty good for me, higher air pressure and less compression damping gets rid of a lot of the harshness in braking and acceleration chop.
The only information I've gotten on the 21.5 husqy RE XACT suspension is that it is not 10mm lower like the 21 FC.

You're kind of at "The 2 ends of the spectrum" on the Austrian bikes.

The Rockstar is an excellent value when you take into consideration all the add'l parts/upgrades on it.

The GasGas, too, is a solid value when it comes to "Bang for the Buck". ALl the basics of what the Rockstar Edition "is" mechanically are there without any of the Frills. Also, you could turn it into your own version of a GasGas/TLD/Red Bull Replica with rhe $2,000 you're saving versus the Husky.

One clear advantage to the Husky: it's already "done". All the cool bits and pieces are already on it & for 2021 it has an entirely diferent look including most all of the plastic being different than the FC.

Whatever you get...have a blast and go enjoy riding with your son on his "silent moto-scoot".

ps-line that EE5 up -NOW- while you can Grinning

It's just new color on the plastic right? Next years Rockstar edition is going to have new bodywork right? And do you expect the ee5 to sell out right away? Also do you have any experience with the new connectivity unit on the Husqvarna?
I've been telling all my friends to get the bike(s) they want NOW if they can find them. As you know, a lot of dealers have waaaay less or no inventory and I'm not too sure that we're gonna see many more '21s anytime soon. If you've got an EE5 avail? I'd get it now and stash it until "Santa" can deliver it on Christmas! Grinning

I've been finding EE5s and Satcycs for friends and family and it's getting harder and harder.

I wish the gas gas came with black wheels. I can see myself on one in the next few years. I'd recommend a 350 unless you're big and really good.

I wonder why its not lowered like the 21 FC. I wonder if the 2022 is going back to standard height. Just picked one upCool

I don't know if you picked up a new bike or not but I just purchased the 21.5 Rockstar Edition last weekend. Coming off a '19 350 SX-F. It looks like the 21.5 RE is exactly the same as the 20.5 RE minus the new plastic and the Connectivity Unit and it is definitely 10mm taller than the standard 21 FC. Judging by the sticker on the forks, the suspension and settings are exactly the same as the Factory Edition KTM.

Is this true? If so, I didn't realize that (and just got a 21.5 RE last week). Was this info published anywhere?

I saw a 125xc a few months ago and the fork sticker had air pressure settings for all ktm and husky models with standard travel aer forks. It did not show settings for the fc or tc models but did have fx and tx settings. What does the fork sticker show on the RE?

I just bought a new leftover 2020.5 RE and the bike is amazing. The forks aren’t great but not terrible either. I feel like the bike makes up for the shortcomings of the forks. I’m actually willing to give air a shot with this bike, maybe seeing what REP can do with them first.

That's the beauty of the new aer mid valve... its very easily tuned.

Congrats on the new bike

I went from a 19.5 RSE to a new gas gas and I have to say, it’s amazing! The motor is much more manageable IMO! And the subframe makes it turn better.
