With all the new young guns in MX2 and Seb Pourcel possibly still hurt, what riders will France fill their team with?

Would they dare take one of the possible World Champs Marvin Musquin or Gautier Paulin over Christophe Pourcel? If they have the World Champ and US Champ, which of the two do they select?

What about in MX1 or Open? Which MX2 rider will move up or is Pichon racing again good enough for the team? How about Le Cobra?

Whatcha think?

MX1 S. Pourcel if fit, otherwise Pichon if he continues his current form.
MX2 Musquin
MX3 C. Pourcel (on a 250)

seb pourcel might just be ready for the race, still he had a lot of set up problems and has been of the bike for long.....
cris pourcel is a sure thing on a 250, but if his fitness issues get better he can do it on a 450 as well.....
n.aubin has raced the 450 for a while, even won last national race with pichon and dv12 in it......
theres also g.aranda that if comming on strong.......
and of course you can never count out pichon, but i think it is a to long shot, and dv12 is way of the pace even in the french nationals......
for the mx2 it gets a bit easyer........cris pourcel or the best french in mxgp.......

one thing you have to remember is the bike deplacements........since there might not be any pro circuit rider in team usa, if cris poucel goes it will be only on a 250, i dont see mitch doing and testing a 450 just for that race, might not send any at all.....!!!!!

C. Pourcel will ride on 450 (unless his contract when MXDN does not allow it...)

Chris Pourcel prefers the 450 much more than the 250 and he already has a solid experience and an exceptionnal speed, with this bike.

Also with his father (owner of KRT, the official team Kawa in GP), Chris could have a great bike and the testing couldn't be really difficult.

Also it's possible (but it is very unlikely), he doesn't want ride for this race (he don't appreciate so much organization Youthstream/MXGP and he keeps a very bad memory...).

Better be someone really good because America is teh Shit!

Musquin : 250F
Chris Pourcel : 450F (courtesy of team KRT)
Aubin : 450F

Why ?

Seb Pourcel told a friend of mine last sunday (french GP) that he probably won't be 100% until 2010.
Pichon won't ride anymore this year after german GP next week.
DV is (sadly) off the pace. Aranda too.
Paulin, Frossard, Boissière and Boog actually don't have enough experience on a 450.

I like that suggestion. Aubin is good, but I think he's as solid as a shrimp. He can go from best to worst in one day. Pichon would handle going top ten any day, and France need a Ferry kind of guy, since the mentally fragile youth can throw everything away.

Just saying...

Will be a blast to watch!!!

Boissière will be faster on a 250F, that's for sure!

Tortelli, Pichon & JMB could wipe the friggin floor after 1 days training and 10 kit kats each.

No problem.

Actually JMB could win the thing on his own.

I saw it, but I ignored it! Smile You are probably right, but Pichon did retire some years ago, and now we have him doing some GPs. Anything can happen it seems! Smile
