There was second rider testing Factory Kawasaki on Febvre IG but without numbers on bike.
Maybe they will soon make PR.

I would be very surprised if Van Horebeek will go green. I guess they'll choose / have chosen a younger rider, preferably one who brings cash aswell. And Van Horebeek and Febvre aren't too keen on eachother either.

Monticelli seems to bring the $$ with him, so I think you’re gonna be dissapointed. I doubt he got the GasGas ride purely on performance either.

I remember when they both rode Yamaha and fought over a gate😂 Can’t see them as team mates again either

Isn't that Italian adult movie actor his sponsor?

That would be news for me. I know that the guy is somehow involved in JK Racing Yamaha.

It will be very interesting to see what Bonacorsi can do in EMX250 on probably the best bike in the class (or at least one of the best). His size is not anymore a handicap like in the 125 class.

What about Fachetti? Can’t put a whole season together let alone a weekend, he’s been on plenty of well funded teams but done next to nothing.

Indeed interesting to what Sydow can do, imho fit he is a title candidate, but to be honest i don't really understand it from Yamaha's perspective.

I mean Hutten is signed on as the Yamaha talent team to develop the future mx2 factory riders right? Sydow will be 22 when the 2022 GP season starts.

Happy for Sydow to get a good ride, he really got the short end of the stick this year. Would like to see him in MX2 though.

He has definitely been more hype than results. Don’t know what kind of financal backing he has, but I’ve kinda felt like he made a name for himself and got a small career with those viral videos of him going nuts at the gate before every moto as a kid. Of course he has some speed and he did win the Junior World title in his last 125 year, but other than that when looking at his results it has been just some flashes here and there. But with the name he has, I’m sure he’ll stick around on some of the Italian teams.

Basically they are yes, but Yamaha also wants to win. With a healthy and fit Sydow they have a title contender and race winner in house, so it makes sense in a way.

On the otherhand, they don’t need or are in a rush to get a new factory rider. There MX2 team is looking bright with Geerts,Renaux and Benistant. None of the 3 will move up anytime soon to the MXGP.

For Sydow it’s first a step back but in the end two step forwards if everything works out. I don’t think he got allot of options on GP rides. Taking a step back on a good team with a good bike make sense. If he is able to get race wins and eventually the title, he will be hot on the GP market again.

Is the deal with Guadagnini and Red Bull KTM still happening? It’s been quite for awhile now, thought we would have seen a press release by now.

2 interesting characters, both with lots of promise coming into MXGP,both still to find the success it looked like they were destined to have.
They are examples of how hot properties in MX2 don't always succeed in the big boy class

I don’t think KRT will go for an ”expensive” 2nd rider.

I wonder if he'll start putting in the proper work during the winter. If not, racing in MX2 could be ugly for him. He fades in EMX races, it wont be easier in MX2.
