I think Vlaanderen should get a punt at that Kawi spot.

he is going green
No way. Team KRT has not enough money to bring Coldenhoff alongside Febvre.
Heard he was close signing a deal with Yamaha, but Kawaski needed 2 top riders. I guess they just overbid Yamaha.

It would be a disaster. Really.
But it seems more and more that way... Monticelli could become the second rider, if he brings enough cash. What a beautiful World Championship.

To me it looks more like the factories don't value guys who are likely to finish somewhere between 6th and 10ish in the championship and don't pay for that level.

There seems to be a pretty normal dropdown in salary from the 'aliens' to the very good ones where the types like Coldenhoff can make a very good living. Based on that you would expect the riders who finishes top 10ish in points get a good paid gig. However the factories don't seem to value that at all and rather have someone who covers the costs then costs money. It's why guys like Anstie and van Horebeek have no (semi)factory ride and Monticelli and Bogers do/did.

Very nice. Surprised they do EMX250 though.

They also added the Belgian Coenen brothers to their talent pool

It will be the one who drops his pants the lowest, Paulin said it pretty accurate. The continues stream from MX2 riders to the MXGP class combined with teams who are closing show, makes the value of riders go down. Riders who made 400k to be between 1 and 5th are now replaced with MX2 talent who are riding for 150k. But at the end of the day, both are not well educated, so what after their career? And I don't gonna talk about the worse kind of thing that can happen.

I'm wondering if it's 150k for guys like Vlaanderen. A couple of years of making 150k would not be a bad deal for someone who is 15th in points and has 6 top 10 finishes this season.... And yes i am aware of the risks these guys are taking.

Sounds like Monticelli to me. I think he brings money with him? A bit like Lieber did.

I'm stoked with that I read that interview Milky did with mxvice and it didn't look all that positive but that's good news

*Milky is a nickname my mate and I have for Malkiewicz cause I kept forgetting how to spell his name in the text messages we'd have during races so I started calling him Milkybar kid which we then shortened to Milkybar then again to Milky haha
