A healthy Webb is a force to be reckoned with. He doesnโ€™t race for second place. In my opinion AC9 will be his main competitor. Talent leans towards Adam. Toughness and race craft goes to Cooper.

It really is scary how fast this can go south. So glad it wasnโ€™t worse for him. That was a scary crash.

Some how he seems to have eyes in the back of his head when heโ€™s leading a race. might be the best I ever seen at it.

AC as the main competition? Not the champ? Surely Eli is the favorite..

I think he was speaking within Coop's generation. I think Tomac and Roczen in that order would be his main concerns but everything wi be spiced up with the new guns and new rides.

Might be a healthy Roczen in the mix too.

Tomac has been pushing his body hard for a long time. Ferandis Sexton and AC are going to be big this year.

Roczen is on a new bike, thatโ€™ll hurt his results during the first half of the season. Even taking the summer off for development wonโ€™t get things fully figured out, if history is any indication.. AC9 is in the best place to win a bunch IMO, itโ€™ll be him and Eli on a fully developed bike out front, with Barcia, Webb and Osborne chasing.. Sexton is the one I really want to watch, hows he going to perform during a bike development season.

If history is any indication, then what about Roczen and the '17 CRF, he was winning on it since the day 1.

Tell Osbourne that, btw Ferrandis is only about a year younger than Tomac.

Roczen did great in 17, but the normal pattern is that a new bike hurts results during its first season. So a new bike following a bizarre season, plus health issues, plus time away from actually racing, plus heโ€™s not young and bulletproof anymore.. I really like the guy and have huge respect for him and his amazing determination, but I donโ€™t think heโ€™s going to have an easy bunch of wins early in 21..

Coop has never passed Tomac in a race, but heโ€™s the man to beat? Please.

I can see your angle. Tomacs gonna be ready to prove his ownership. If he could get starts he'd have several titles.

Eliโ€™s starts arenโ€™t what have cost him titles....

If he started in the top 3 he'd have more titles. He's terrible off the gate and that's part of the problem.

Webb was in it until the very last SLC race even after his gnarly DNF landing on his back on the concrete.
Beat ELI straight up the year before. . Eli got one title in like 8 seasons and now heโ€™s the supercross Boss? Please

It was pretty obvious tomac was struggling with the bike the year web won and web had a few very close calls that year, it couldโ€™ve ended very differently easy

dont know how people can hate on Webb.. Webbs personality would of fit straight in with the early 2000's era.

willing to win at all cost and happy to voice his thoughts on winning.

Amen brother! But vital is loaded with pansies. Cant imagine what this place would have looked like if it existed in the 70โ€™s and 80โ€™s.

Preach.

How webb is now, is exactly what Carmichael, Stew and Reed where, personality wise.
Was all mind games and backs it up on the track. People hate on Webb and say Tomac needed to adjust to the new bike when Webb won his 450 title. But every one forgets that it was Webbs first season on a KTM after an injury.

And for Webb to walk down to the gate and and walk past all the riders, look them dead in the eye and say "you guys ready for a title fight".. how can you not love it hahahah

I've never figured that out either. ๐Ÿ™„

Everyone was so surprised when Coop came back the next week, that crash was nasty. This goes to show how much damage was actually done, also shows his grit by racing the whole supercross series.

He is growing on me, but I've got a good memory and I remember the 'French don't want none' after he won his first race and considering he was talking about 2 past world champions (and respectful dudes) that left their country to race in his, they'd gone to a lot more effort and had put a lot more on the line to 'get some' than he'd done at that stage, then the talking tough on camera then seemed to go to water face to face haha (did it a few times on the podium when he was trash talking Marvin and it's not like Marvin's a big tough guy)
The time he took Ferris out at des Nations in France with like 2 laps to go (from memory) for no benefit of team USA and only cause he couldn't get past him which fucked Dean's bike and dropped us in the results..
Then again taking Ferris out in Sydney by just fading him into a wall when Dean was passing him it was the final sx round and a points paying race for Dean but again just did it cause he couldn't handle it, then hid in the truck in the pits when Dean wanted words with him haha..
Recently the finger guns at Roczen after he won his first race in ages and it was 'just' a triple crown race, yet then tried to tell everyone it was a thumbs up haha.. This annoyed me cause he wasn't nearly a proven thing on 450's and he'd been struggling to get any results and now all of a sudden he's mister cool gotchya guy haha

Should mention I'm not saying he's a dick I'm not saying he's a this or he's a that and I'm not trying to change anyone's mind just those are the reason's why I'm not a fan..
Dude is an incredible racer and always impressive the way he can hold a lead..

And Cooper started the season off with the flu followed by a bad chest infection the following week. Could have been covid 19.

That "grit" cost him the outdoor series completely, and definitely made the back injury worse...... he tried to tough it out, found out it was more injury than expected, then missed the entire outdoors.... gotta be tough if you aren't.....
