Best thing to do is try some on. Prob cant go wrong with any of the big brands.

I should be getting mine Wednesday, really excited to try them.

There's a guy from New Jersey who works for Scott. I'll run Scott's moving forward to show support for DG.

I ran cheap goggles for a few years and was always frustrated with sweat dripping down the inside of my goggles and blurring my vision during long offrad races. Finally bought some quality goggles with better foam and will never go back. For me the better sweat absorption is worth every penny.

I tried a set of Front Line Oakley's and I have to say I am very impressed. Not exactly the same as the airbrake, which in my opinion is just a tad better, but is still lightyears better than any other goggle I have ever ran.

A perk list of the Front Line:
- Has sealed laminates, meaning the laminate sticks and seals itself to the goggle to keep moisture from getting in
- Has the prism lens which is a fantastic product
- Has the wide vision that is very similar to the Airbrake
- Foam also kicks ass, I sweat a lot and I never have to worry about any drip

I currently have Scott prospect. I like them but I have a couple complaints about them:

-Lens scratch really easily, as much as I can remember, my 100% held up better.

-they aren't molded lens, not as safe.

-lens are a pain in the ass to change, maybe I'm just dumb, but the mechanism to release/lock the lens is hard to use, isn't quick and feel flimsy.

Other than that, I like them, fits great, good fov, strap stays in place, good sweat absorption.

However, I'll be switching to Leatt velocity 6.5. they do have two lower end line. They seem to check every box that the Scott didn't check for me. They are overall better quality in my opinion : material, hardware, lens.

I run Oakley Mayhem and O frame. Even the foam on the Mayehm compared to the O Frame is way better.

Yeah, I just rode with a pair of Zone goggles for the first time last weekend. They were pretty nice.

I put roll-offs on, and my only complaint is the roll-off cannisters narrow the field of vision a little more than they do on the Scott goggles.

Agree.

I also don't love the "outrigger" system for the straps. The goggle doesn't feel like it presses hard enough at the edge of my face.

Yup, the lens is a pain to change on the prospects. Oakley's system on the airbrake is a lot better. But I feel like I've got more vision with the prospects and they're cheaper so that's why I stick with them.

Which are the ones with the widest Roll Off system?
Tear offs banned at my local/favourite track.

I believe it to be Scott Prospects. I have them w/ roll offs and they work really well. Would highly recommend.

I have exactly the same thoughts regarding the Prospect. It has been out for many years now, i don't understand why they haven't at least updated to a modern lens. The lens changing mechanism is also bad, just as difficult as the school way of doing it. The potential is so good with it, it just lacks in that department.

I got tired of them and got a set of the Leatt 6.5 goggle to try something new. Pretty much better in every way except fitment that was a bit worse for me. But i'll still stick to the Prospect because of the Roll-Off being so good (they have even a better one for the 2021 line of goggles).

I’m a Scott guy as well. Recently upgraded from the hustles too the fury’s. I noticed the fov being a little bit better and the foam being a pretty big improvement. Also I like the 4 post tear off system. Seems to be better at keeping little bugs of dirt out between tear offs (I use standard not laminates). As far as roll it offs go I have a set of prospect roll offs and they are solid. In the near future I’m gonna pick up a set of 2 of the prospects. The foam is really nice on the set of prospect roll offs I have.

Check out the Leatt goggle line. They offer three different levels of product and they are great goggles! I use them for moto and snowmobile and love them! Great selection of lens colors and they have a very good roll-off systems as well.

Yeah, I would agree that Scott Prospect has the widest field of vision, and the "tallest" roll off film of any of the goggles. Their film is significantly taller than the film from the old Scott 89 goggles that I used for 20+ years.

I think the roll offs for prospects, 100%, and air brakes are all within a mm or two. There is a new roll off system for the Armega but I haven’t seen it just yet.

The new Leatt goggles are the best on the market IMO. Detachable roll off system fits over the tear off lenses, the lenses are super tough and moulded, easy to change, and the fit is super comfy
