Savatgy's fast & still young...he'll land on his feet, no doubt. Even if JGR folds (hope not!), the fact that Team Kawasaki, at one time, had him on a factory bike as partner with Tomac says a lot. I thought the news of him signing with JGR was kind of a negative, because I thought he deserved a lot more.

If Savatgy deserved more than JGR after 2019, what does he deserve now after his 2020 results?

JS probably is a nice guy, but I don't see anything in his personality or his racing that would make me root for him. Pretty dull to me, and probably not a marketing guys' favorite. Still, he was way better on the Kawi, but I totally get why he was left out, he's no match for AC.

There Is going to be collateral damage from the season of the ‘rona, this virus won’t magically end just before( if) SX starts up next year.

I’m sure factory teams are being cautious on who they offer a contract to because of the uncertain economy, and Joey is one of those guys who hasn’t done much for his career over the last year, both on the track and in social media.

Look at Dean Wilson, kind of a mid top ten guy now but he has a ride for next year on a premier factory team. Why? Because Dean realizes that social media followers and fan interaction is important.

I follow both on IG and I can tell you that Dean Is very good at promoting who he is and how maintain a following,

Savatgy not so much...

Joey’s father in-law is also probably worth more than Craig’s father in-law so I’m sure there not much fire in the belly anymore.

I would agree on the personality.......but he is a very technically sound rider to watch. I enjoy that.

He deserves a decent ride for sure, but until his attitude improves, neither will his results or status with high level teams.

Tomac should care for Joey. He won him a lot of money.
Would have passed him anyway. It’s the fact that Joey made a huge deal about letting him by when it would have happened anyway.
I think Joey made alittle to much stink about it. But no......Tomac would not have caught him with the time that was left.
He was basically touching his rear tire with a half lap to go, heading into the sand section where tomac was a lot faster in. It isn’t that difficult to comprehend. If it came down to the last corner tomac would have parked his bitch ass anyway

The answer to your question is no he didn't, that's the only possible way to come to that conclusion.

So you’re telling me he can come from 7th to Joeys rear wheel in 10 laps, and not pass him. Joey is a cuck for pulling over trying to save face and expecting something out of it.

JT$ in his podcast throws out Shane to JGR. bye bye joey I would assume. I know shane had been heavily linked to HEP, which JT does say this is not 100%, but has heard JGR now and for sure a yellow 450 bike none the less for 2021

I'm not a fan of Mc Elrath but him at JGR would not be bad. Maybe a 2nd rider like Bloss if they could swing that.

The thing about JS is that his results have just not been great the last two seasons. He put the Kawi and Suk on the ground too often. Throw in the whinny, finger pointing attitude and it’s not hard to understand why some teams would not be overly excited about him. Hasn’t done much for Just1 either.

JGR said they have no idea what their plans are for next season, but they know they will not include Joey Savatgy

Does Penrite Honda have a second spot along side Brayton?

it would/will be Clout. That team was built here for Clout.
Clout is a better 450 rider than Joey. Looking forward to Clout on a 450 here.

Clout is a better 450 rider than 250 rider. Not sure he's a better 450 rider than Savatgy just yet though. Lets pump the brakes a little on that one.

In Australia maybe. In a super pole lap most likely. In a supercross series, it's a big call.

I like Clout, and I dislike Savatgy, but I'm not willing to go that far.

Clouts rides against JB were great rides, and I’m not taking anything away from Joey, he’s obviously bad dude. I’d take Clout in a full series anyway over Joey given that he’s never completed a full 450 season without injury. Clout has way more upside in a 450 vs his 250 last season.
