Did you ride 30 novice also?

Is there a 50 a, 50b, 40a, 40b class? Or just 50,40 ? No 125 class?

I looked it up, vet classes hv novice, int, exp, very cool. And 2 125 classes pro and pasha- don,t know what that is. But it,s a 40 yr old 125 class, super cool. Those 2strokes sure make a rough track.

I did! I got 7th in the first moto...although a crash on my last "extra" lap ended my day. I'm guessing the 30 experts came around to the checker before they lapped the top 7 so we go to do a very unwanted 6th lap

I tried to give it a go in the 250 Nov race but my neck was like "nah dude your done"

Fun race though! What bike were you riding?

I got 8th the first moto. Obermeyer lapped me on the last lap in the sand section in the first moto so I didn’t have to do that unwanted last lap 😂 I’ve never been so happy to be lapped. Unfortunately, the last moto he didn’t get me so I had to do every lap haha!

It was a blast! I’m destroyed today. What about you?
I was on a KX250 #23

There were 3 125 pro classes that Pasha supported. 125 Pro, 30+ 125 Pro and 125 50+ Pro. The guy loves moto and loves 125’s

Ah.
So Pasha is a person. That makes sense now.

Yes. He’s pretty well known in the SoCal moto scene

Quick question for all. In a Pro class, Pasha promoted or not, what percentage of riders should get a pay back? I'm old and back when payback was always 30% if not a little more. Any thoughts?

I know the Pasha pro classes went back to 10th. Open pro I think I saw did too, but I’m not 100% sure.

Top 5 in 125 pro got paid. My kid was 8th, not that I think 8th should be paid or anything.

Above the line is what got $

What the hell? I swear I heard them announce over the radio that they were paying top 10.

It was a bummer that they didn’t do the normal 33% of finishers like most local races.

Should be 30% or top 5 at least, IMO

Dam, your gnarly racing with that foot. Excellent gate pick and in the shade even. How much fun is that Big downhill ? Mxa write up talked about a 30 ft table top with a 40 ft drop, sounds fun.

I had a blast on saturday. As mentioned, the track was rough as hell. If you ever think you're in good shape, go ride GH and then decide if you are or not. Heh. I think I was gassed by the 3rd lap. Went 7-6 for 6th OA in 30 int. The uphills in the 2nd moto had you staring directly into the sun. Can't wait for next year!

Except for the open pro race the other pro races had a Glen Helen purse and a Pasha purse as well. So it did pay farther back

The Pasha purse only paid 3 out of 18. That is not the pay back I remember being at least 30%.
