Well guys just wondering has anyone used a flywheel weight on their bike only heard of them online and want a bit of feed back..have a 250 2 stroke and can be a bit to lively on the track for a guy with my experience anyways and was thinking a getting one and trying it out..says online it would it improve throttle response and make the bike a bit smoother and have less bog on lower revs that wouldn't have to be full throttle to be hitting power ban any first hand opinions would be great thanks ,✌😁

OP, read up on adjusting the timing for a more mellow hit. Technically it's a free mod if you have the tools.

Had the 11oz on my RM250 and it was a nice addition.
For sure its a good mod for what youre after
I actually started out with a 9oz weight but felt the power delivery could be smoother still. For me, I think 11oz would be perfect for the track but like I said, most of my riding these days is pseudo hard enduro so the 13 ouncer is staying put.
I've got a 9oz now. I feel more confident coming out of turns, but I rode better, more aggressive, and faster with the 11oz. I still have it and may put it back on, but I'm fine with the 9 right now and I'm too lazy to go back.
When I sold that bike I took the fww off and sat it in my shed. I ended up loaning it to a mate with a yz with a full pc exhaust. He said it made it a different bike and so much more rideable so he gave me some cash and kept it
I now run a hgs pipe and shorty silencer on my 2018 yz250 and prefer this set up. It's a smooth power but starts earlier and pulls harder through the mid range but signs of earlier.
