2020 Loretta Lynn's Amateur bench racing

Speaking of too many classes...anyone know the difference between Schoolboy 1 (12-17) and 125 B/C (12-17)? The latter is for dropouts only? Tongue

So If Bennick makes top 10 he’s forced to the A class at 15 years old?
It used to be normal for top guys like Ryan Mills, Davi Millsaps, Mike Alessi and many more, to race Schoolboy 12-15 and 125 A in their last year at Lorettas.

Same thing can be said about Kitchen that is being said about Deegan. Why not ride in the real 250B class? I agree with there being too many classes. I think once you get on big bikes especially you should ride with who your true competition is. Not who signs up for the least stacked class or less prestigious title.
It did work out pretty good for Justin Cooper and Brandon Hartranft though.

Kitchen is hauling ass. Would like to see him mix it up with the other big names of the B class.
For Kitchen's being 19 I think he knew he needed to dominate this year and try to get a factory ride. I think that played into his decision to stay with the Limited Class. Without big money or a factory backing, it is hard to keep with these pro built bikes. If he had a Star Racing Yamaha or pro built engine I think it would have been a no brainer and he would be up in the 250B class and run with the top guys.

Luke riding low in the RPMs was good to see. Like his riding style!

This apprentice announcer program is cool, but I really wish they would have been doing this all through the regionals and taken the best to the ranch.

Talking about a bunch of classes, what’s the difference with limited and the normal class? Isn’t Mini Sr basically an 85cc class, so what’s up with the name?

Bashing on kids on why they ride which class is pretty pointless. Like yeah, Deegan wouldn’t probably win Supermini but what’s the point when he’s younger than the the other kids he would go up against? Everyone does things their own way.

Lukey did awesome. Can't even describe how proud of that kid I am. Gets the rest of the day to recuperate and come out swinging tomorrow.

Limited classes are almost stock bikes. I think you can only change out the pipe. The normal class you can do whatever mods you want as long as they stay in the CC limits.

Mini SR class is 85s just with bigger wheels and wheelbase.

Mini SR 1 and 2 are not limited classes. They do have 17" and 16" wheels.

Also, you can't change a pipe in a limited class. Must be stock

I don't think he's on a terrible bike? Rock River am bikes are not too bad of bikes. Lots of riders have competed on them against factory guys. He put just as fast of lap times with the RR bike as they will in the normal B and A class..... 1:51 laptime is no slouch of a bike
