Sounds to me like you need to teach your wife how to tell the difference between a new good smelling tire with nipples on it and a roasted out dirty old tire.

were you in a hurry to leave the shop instead of waiting for it to be changed?

In my 30 years as a MC tech the guest would normally wait till we could get to it. Sometimes took a couple hours depending on how slammed we were with guests in front of you.

Wow, giant fiasco! I hope you can find the strength to go on after all this.

Seriously though, the shops are all SLAMMED right now. They made a mistake, I'm sure they will make it right.

I would go straight to the BBB about this, no one should have to suffer like you have.

And divorce your wife, she fucked up too.

Whatever you do, don't buy a set of tire levers and change the tire yourself.

I'm just blown away that you'd leave your wheel and tire at a shop to have it changed and then have your wife make a trip back to get it.

Then you spent time and money the next day to go back and have it changed?

Did you not have 10 minutes to do it yourself?

Great luck on my end. Currently moving out of my house and didn’t feel like changing a tire before moving everything lol.

The local dealer did a great job for a great price!

I'm confused

So it wasn't mounted?
Wife brought home old wheel w old tire, and a separate new tire?

Yeah, I can see that

He didn’t do it himself because he was two tired. Same reason I don’t repack my own muffler, it’s exhausting.

Is that the same reason you typed “two tired?” Was it too exhausting to use some of the pink squishy thing in your skull to spell correctly? Unsure

Man up. This is Motocross.

They’re puns, moran.

“Two tired” because he had “two tires” he wanted swapped. Muffler repacking is exhausting because it’s literally an exhaust. Get it? Use that pink squishy thing in your skull, sweetheart.

PS: Go ahead and correct moran for me while you’re at it noob.

Had a coupl'a tires mounted at my local dealer...and on a proper machine by a tech that knows how to NOT wreck the bead. Paid about $160 for the tires and $30 to mount. I'm worth it...& so is the dealer.

Some dealers are pretty damn awesome: Lee's Honda-Kawasaki, Redding, CA.

Bike: 450 SX-F

Tires: MX53 80/100 frt, MX33 120/80 rr.
