My vintage mountain bike: Scoot Tampico model, frame middle size.
I bought it in 1995:

Camstyn, that trail is Rio. Photo is taken on the ride to it between Rose hill and Juniper. Good eye. We have been riding a different trail every weekend with our crew from BMX racing. Last weekend up Greenstone and the weekend before Jamison creek. Harper this weekend...dirt here is all time amazing right now. We also ride Pinewiew, Kenna Cartwright, Batchelor and of course Kamloops bike ranch. My son is 9 and with the help of tha Norce is now crushing climbs. He did the climb up to Beer run at Pineview the other night.

Nice! Where was the jump pic taken? It looks like a familiar spot.

@fourfourone - I thought so. I rode there once a week until recently. I never do the big jumps though!

I’m really having fun with it, much more capable than I am at this point. Although, I could use some disc brakes. It definitely has a more BMX feel, than a friends 29er I recently rode.

Fun machine! I've currently got my shock off for a rebuild, snapped it!

Word of warning for any e-mtbers... they don't like pedal strikes... at all. Like, it might be worse than direct water ingress...

Go clipless, or get shorter cranks and smaller profile pedals!

If you haven't already done it, raise the front to 150mm (stock is 140mm). It doesn't sound like much, but the bike will handle much better and that will eliminate 90% of the pedal strikes, especially while climbing.

Here's my 18' Camber Comp Carbon at Coldwater Mountain in Anniston, Alabama a few weeks ago. This is the beginning of the "Rock Slot" trail. Great trail system!
