I couldn't help myself! Been salivating over these KTM 85 big wheel racers for ages..heaps of kids at our track ride them...they rip! I'm a Yamaha dude...but the KTM 85 big wheel seems quite a bit bigger and a whole lot more modern and trick than the Yamaha.

Was getting pretty fit before this bug crisis..was down to 69 kilos, but with it being quiet at work and the local fitness centre being shut, ending my gym and swim program...I developed a pretty nasty case of couch guts..it's been snacks and 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 and Netflix!
No more of that!
Got races coming up to do on my big bikes and some serious fun to be had on this little ripper!
Won't ride it for a little while yet, gonna put a 105 kit on it straight away and an FMF 105 pipe and silencer.
Also gonna get a stiff shock spring and both ends revalved for a 69 kilo twelve year old ( 🙄🙄🙄🙄 12 ..going on 55 😛😛😛 )
I never did have a mini bike...had 3 jobs after school and on weekends ,soon as I turned 15..then was working full time by the time I was 16. First bike I bought was a 77 CR125 Elsinore..
So this is a dream come true for me..I'm only 5'6 and a fleaweight when I'm fit ..this bike is my perfect size

Yeah I know...but I've seen plenty of kids that are taller then me, ride them very well....It's just about having big fun for me..

Thats Sick Smile I steal my wife’s tc85 big wheel all the time I’m 46 going on 12 though and have a rm85 super mini in the works so much fun to swing around.... congrats enjoy stay safe.....

We have a race series around here called Masters of Mini. No 2 strokes allowed, but seeing a bunch of grown men race all different sizes of pit bikes is a pretty funny site. It's super laid back and it's nice to see people not take it too seriously. But some definitely do haha.

I am laying off the beers though..I promised myself I won't ride this bike till I'm 69 kilos...I can do that pretty quick...
Although by doing that..I'm probably gonna have to go to softer springs on my new 450

Yeah..I saw all that and It really pushed me over the edge to just do it!
I'm only 5'6 , so ,same height as Ricky Carmichael...and this is the first bike I've had since my 77 Elsinore where I can touch both feet on the ground
There's a company here that got custom 112 stroker cranks made by VHM in Europe..but the crank alone is $1500.
With the Aussie dollar climbing up against the greenback at the moment, the time will soon be ripe to order the 105 kit and the fmf exhaust from the states.
Gonna keep it within reason..so just the 105 kit, the exhaust system , a revalve both ends and a stiffer shock spring.
Then is all about getting out there and living the dream 😛

Was at the neighbors putting a full decal set on his sons Yz65 sick little bike too..... you will love the 85 I alway love getting on them had rms for years and just got the TC it’s worlds apart from the zook. This is the wife’s after we put her graphics on.

Just found that hammerhead make a longer shift lever for this bike..was worried about my boot ( size 11 ) being too big..measured from the front edge of the footpeg to the centre of the shifter tip..120 mm
My Yamahas all measure 140 so a 20 mm longer shifter will be perfect!

Happy for ya man. I,m almost 6,2 so I could never fit on a big wheel. I worked for farmers 9 to 15 yrs old, had the cash to buy a 79 RM 80- dream bike. But my mom would not let me. Good to see you finally got yours.

Yeah there are some advantages to being a short arse...my mate who owns our local track will be so jealous..hes about 6'2 and heavy...so hes not
getting on it!

Yeah my buddy is actually racing the series this year, starts up on the 27th. Was supposed to start this weekend but got pushed due to some virus thing that's apparently going around.
