Privateers racing their hearts out is the coolest fucking thing to watch. Props to that kid and his mom for making the trip happen and the dream come true!

He was rolling the dice on that whoop speed.. worked in his favor just enough to allow him to control his own destiny in the turn - and that's exactly what the kid did!

Loved it... phew, lotta drama and work for the 11 handicap now! Grinning

All I could think of when they mentioned his name lol. That commitment at the end of the whoops to the corner was awesome!

It would cool to see what he could do on equal equipment.
Watching the factory guys against the privateers is like watching the pro class race against 85's

How many times are you going to say that tonight?

I've been helping out Curren since he was on 85's. Watched him grow up to be a fine young man.

There is a lot of really good guys out there and Curren is right up there as one of the best dudes on the circuit. Extremely polite too!

He has been one of the trainers at the FCA Camps I organize in Texas and also assist me in my Starts & Sprints classes. Great with all the riders from kids to vets.

Would love to hear a privateer podcast with him!

Great ride. He is in tip top condition, kicked some butt at the Cycle Ranch Texas Shootout a few weeks back. I'm wondering if he shouldn't be on a 450?

Curren did some 450 SX during the West Region races.

He is a better 450 rider. Bout 6 feet tall, 170.

He was on my team and I switched him for 722. Still worked out I guess.

Curren is just flat out an awesome guy. Very polite and down to earth. He works his butt off and it's showing. I really wish some team like ClubMX would give him a shot. A little support would go a long ways with him.

I almost jumped over the LCQ's, and I'm glad I didn't. Watching that last turn pass was awesome, and seeing the absolute joy from him was great!
