I received a PM from a member offering me a swing-arm, but I can't figure out how to find my inbox. But to him - I maanged to find one and thank you for the offer. Here is an update! Slowly coming together now. Was unable to get the fork caps off with a pin wrench so I'll have to order the special socket. I noticed I was missing my voltage regulator, but for some reason the repair manual doesn't have a wiring diagram and part # for which one I need for the 125sx. Do you guys know if I need part 14 or 15? https://puu.sh/zhiis/6b4c3b19ec.png Thanks.

One of the guys on KTMtalk got back to me, apparently the SX bikes don't have a regulator because they don't drive any lights. I got the PDS shock and the swingarm on and starting to wire it up now, will get some pics tomorrow!

I had a 06 200 XC for a minute. Best engine I've ever ridden with for me. I loved it

We're on the home stretch now guys. I might even be able to start it up today. Just got the airbox in last night, going to clean it up and zipty it together for now, until I get my special hardware from the OEM. I was sent the wrong fork seals by the vendor and spent 2 days trying to figure out why I couldn't get them to seat so I could see the groove! I finally took them out and measured the stop disc + seal thickness compared to the distance between the upper fork lip and the bottom of the circlip groove. Then I cut up some head stays. My precision work needs some well, work.

SHE LIVES GUYS!!! This was my first ever rebuild and I was very nervous I had ruined something putting it together and trashed my ~1000 dollar engine. I completely forgot about the silencer and there is a slight problem with that. Anyone see any issues with just welding on an extension? Still waiting on the new fork seals and trying to hunt down a side cover for the airbox if anyone has one. None on ebay at the moment unfortunately. Just going to order a bunch of specialty hardware from KTM and next saturday I will be riding again.

So. The bike is just about done. waiting on a front axle + nut because I stuffed mine and all should be good to go..Was having some extreme difficulties getting it to start let alone idle, was at my wit's end getting the carb on and off cleaning it over and over..Last time around I dunked it in the ultrasonic and it seemed to do the trick, the pilot circuit now functions. my coolant level dropped after letting it idle for ~10 minutes or so just to see if it would stay on, so I checked on the case oil to make sure I wasn't losing coolant in there. Stripped out the plug and learned the hard way to only use the magnetic one on the left hand engine case!
Will get some cosmetic improvements as time progresses/they show up for a good deal on eBay..But finally looking forward to be riding again. I rushed through this build a little too much here towards the end, and I spent more than I would've liked to by a long shot, but I learned a couple of new skills along the way. The next project I take on I will be more meticulous with. I have a KDX200 and a CRF250R that I picked up for about ~400 dollars...

I have a frame, forks, and rear brake assembly for one if you end up needing to replace yours.
