Pit Row
Random question but you may have ran into the same issue. I also just Cerakoted my ign cover and starter motor cover and took off the slave cyl before doing so. made sure not to let the piston pop out in the meantime. After putting it all back together clutch isn't fully disengaging. Bled it from the bottom and still wont disengage. Trying to figure out what is going on and how air maybe got in there. Are these things super temperamental with the hyd slaves?
I pull the slave and base holder before I do anything else and zip tie them together, then I drain the fluid. As far as bleeding, I reverse bleed and then back bleed by pumping the lever and opening the bleeder much like a brake system. Clutch on this gen 450 suck. I have the arc power lever that changes the release point and a Hinson clutch pack and run 3 of 5 springs. That helped it a lot
I have the ARC powerlever too, and did the back bleed like a normal brake system, just not making any progress maybe it needs a reverse bleed.
Have the rekluse torq drive pack but haven't installed it yet thankfully, else would be thinking that may be the culprit.
Do you think the Rekluse slave would be an upgrade/fix to these issues?
Heads up in the for sale section!!

That isn't my listing, I have Shock Therapy suspension on my KX450, as some friends recommended him because he has 2019 KX450 and although he is a bit slower, we weigh the same. It's been good so far, but it started out soft for me and I've had to go in on the clickers. I have had Graeme do suspension for a lot of my other bikes. I would say Graeme sets up a bit on the stiff side, but he is really good about listening and making the proper adjustments. He's one heck of a human too!
Just had put them on my CRF when I sold it so no real chance to rode them much.
Thanks
