I've seen nothing but class in all of ML's posts and my talking to him at A1 and on Insta. He didn't say anything bad or wrong about either rider leaving and left the reasons pretty vague and nondescript in what appears to be in honor of their confidence.

Good luck with the team ML. Unfortunately at the level you're able to support, I think you'll find a lot of riders that aren't supported for a reason.

But doesn't this now limit any other "honda" team from considering him? Or any team that's not a ktm?

Yeah it doesnt look good to any Honda team. But theres still Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, Husky, Gas Gas, and who knows maybe TM or Sherco is gonna show up with a SX team.
Of course he needs to put results that warrant signing a good team. Finishing 1 or 2 positions higher doing it on his own isnt gonna get him anywhere the FXR Chaperal team wouldnt.

Unprofessional is a understatement in the moto industry. I could not tell you how many times I’ve called the main company directly to order parts or ask a technical question and they would act pissed like I was bothering them. Too many “Cool Guys” in the moto industry.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve met some genuine good dudes, but damn there’s a ton of douche bags out there.

ML seems to run a better ship than Sanner. But Sanner did build a bike that did this...so.

Everybody wants Moto content.

Walker can provide Moto content without racing or being on a team and make more money right now.

Bum deal for ML who it sounds helped him build the relationships he needed to be in the position walker is in.

It’s business

If he’s still focused on going to Med School, i can’t fault the kid. He has a lot on his plate.

I know we all love a good lynching, ESPECIALLY when it involves one of Vitals own, but Walker is also just a kid. What was he really going to do in the sport? There’s a lot of better riders with less. Move on and give a bike to someone that can put it in both shows.

Nobody will gain anything by airing out the Laundry on here.

The Industry is small and tight knit and it doesn't tolerate the dirty laundry.

Both parties need to just move on and Vitards need to accept they will never know everything and the really shouldn't know any ways.

My two cents on this.........The money just wasn't there for Walker or Robin........or at least what they thought was fair.........but these guys now a days....... And Matthes talks about it all the time. They literally want the red carpet rolled out for them right from the start, they think they can have their cake and eat it too......

What happened to taking a chance on yourself and getting on a team that maybe wasn't the most lucrative when it comes to financial gain but you get good equipment, expenses paid, but above all, get a shot to prove yourself.....
It just blows me away sometimes with this newer generation of riders.

I can personally speak on this......

I used to work with a rep from a company that shall go nameless....... that tried telling me back in 2017 that AC was going to sign with GEICO............ Laughing And believe me when I say he was "well respected"
