Here in the UK, I worked at a Kawasaki dealership in the early/mid 2000s.
In 2001 Kawasaki sold the KX60 AND the KX65.
For 2002 the 60 was dropped and only the 65 was available from there on.. (Note the 2001 models had green painted frames)
A friend of mine has just bought a used KX60, with grey frame, a sticker on the frame dated 2004 and a ‘Canadian’ compliance sticker on the frame. The frame looks to be original paint.
My question is, was the KX60 available in the USA and/Or Canada for a few years after it was discontinued in the UK??

I have always been a kawi guy and just looooooved my 60
Wouldn't have minded shares in kx60 rear guards either haha.. We ended up doin the 80 swingarm trick, which helped
Surely Kawasaki could’ve rounded it off or something to make it less of a sharp point?!
Pit Row
03 was the first year of grey frames so the Kawazuki thing could happen.
I'm pretty sure the fork & shock haven't seen any kind of significant changes since 02. Still damper rods up front and the same design in the rear.
Post a reply to: KX60 2004??
