Was that who Sexton hit? That was pretty nasty. Here's hoping he's just a little roughed up, and there's no serious injuries.

I was wondering the same thing - nothing on the web to read about it either. He looked like he hit his head good enough to get a concussion on the first impact into the whoop, the hit from Sexton seemed like concussion number two. That really hurt to watch Dizzy

The dude was rooting for a rider the majority on this board have never even heard of. Obviously the he was stunned when his guy he was cheering for went down since Gaines did pretty well last weekend. And then he says best wishes and recovery? Brutal hits. I was surprised to see him conscious after going OTB into the face of the whoop. Then that fork tube to the helmet was just plain nasty. Sorry to hear he is pretty banged up, but damn that could have been so much worse. Heal up Nick!

I was at work so I had to watch that video clip without sound, so I didn't know it was Gaines, or Sexton that hit him. Yeah...it looked really bad. Not minimizing a concussion...or TWO for that matter, but I'm very surprised that Gaines didn't suffer any other injuries after that. Hope he's ok...

I replayed the crash in slo mo and when Sexton hits him in the head, Gaines goggles went flying off his helmet and went 30 feet or more off the track. That kid took a hard lick for sure. Definitely could of been worse.
