Amazing performance by gajser. From herlings it was expected I guess. They gapped 3rd place by almost 90 seconds and lapped 6th place

You're making it out like Coldenhoff starts winning every year, at the end of the year.

He did it last year in MXGP, never before!
I'm saying he improves greatly. Hes done it the last two years from what I remember.

Yep theres nothing wrong with Herlings. Gajser is just that good. Hes a 2 time world champ so it's not surprising he was able to step up on one of his historically worst tracks.

It’s insane to me that Gajser is pacing herlings around this track. Can he do the same at Latvia or lommel?

Universe restored. Gajser had to go over his head second moto.

Herlings got lucky a couple of times as well. That's what happens when you go 10 seconds faster than 3rd place...

A tie on points with Herlings at this track is like a win . It's gonna be a great season , hopefully they both stay healthy.

Everyone has to ride over their head to beat him in the sand. What's impressive is the improvement he's made in sand. Beat him fair and square first moto herlings said. I know I was thinking what's up with herlings but when you look at the gap behind them nothing was wrong with herlings, just Tim had improved massively in sand. And herlings just admitted same lol

Hats off to Gajser, fantastic riding. But you could tell Herlings was controlling this race by keeping a pace everybody had difficulties with.

2019 was the first time he'd won an MXGP GP. He didn't finish on the podium in 2018.

Herlings is such an enigma this year, or is it realy that smart riding thing?
I'm confused

His moto finishes are 1-2-2 and currently 1. How the hell is that an enigma. Seems like the complete opposite to me.
If you watch actual races, not final standings, and I'm not the only one who's confused

Impressed by Tim's riding today, but that get off near the end of Moto 2 could have been bad for anyone not made of rubber!

That was a great GP. None of the races for the win were amazing but there was still a lot to watch and plenty to talk about. Herlings can be happy that he’s 2 for 2 in GP wins, but Gajser will take a lot of confidence from this weekend. He leaves Valkenswaard without losing any points to Herlings and that is not something that often happens. Along with that, he will now believe that he can beat Herlings in any conditions which is great for the championship.

Vialle and Geerts are showing themselves to be the class of the field in MX2. Each dominated a moto and Geerts put on an incredible charge in the second race. I still think a couple of other guys could get in there with them, we are yet to see the best of Olsen and Watson, but they have some catching up to do points wise

Herlings definitely picked up on stuff Gajser did in moto 1, mainly that outside before the waves to get the drive to jump them. But man was Gajser impressive today. His confidence must be sky high right now. Can’t wait for the conditions to improve though, I want to see these guys going at it in the dry and not a rut fest.

The track after the last moto. Probably as brutal as I’ve seen Valkenswaard

Good grief those ruts are nasty. They looked bad on the broadcast but the on-track shots, wow. Thanks for sharing RG1!

I was just about to write that too. I'm sure he wasn't happy after the moto but i'm sure he will fine with it tomorrow.

Ouf I remember similiar looking jump faces from the riding days in Holland/Belgium. Never admitted it but always enjoyed quads out on the track flatting them out and making it less scary Laughing

Track was very very rough! Especially the new parts of the track, they were impossible to ride through without a struggle or some feet off. I had to do that without clutch the last few minutes, but am happy with 9 points..

I had my doubts about Herlings after moto1. But what people here who weren't there not know that the announcer said that joel smets was saying before moto 2 Herlings this win not gonna let go. Gajser gave him a run, but...after 4 motos went down 3 times now.
