Is this a new Herlings who has now turned into Ryan Dungey and is happy with scoring decent points or is there something wrong?
I'm not taking anything from Gajser, he's the real deal and is more than capable of beating Herlings, but it just doesn't seem right for Herlings to be annihilated so easily.

Best bit for neutrals and season ahead? We're not relying on a 34 (and soon to be 35) year old, to challenge, one of the fastest MXGP riders in history, in Jeffrey Herlings!
Herlings don't like mud races, so if he's doing damage control he's smart, if he can't go faster he have a problem.
So yeah, "not taking anything from Gasjer"...
3 moto’s in and he looked way uncomfortably in 2 of them but still holds te red plate. Will see how this works and what he will do in the 2nd one!
End results would not have been different IMO, but he got a bit lucky to be in P3 that early.
Jonass needs to chill a bit down, all over the places this weekend and taking guys out.
If Gajser beats him again , Herlings got a real problem this season ...Herlings looked off yesterday in quali and today in first moto , dude is struggling on this track while Gajser is the one floating around and making it look easy .
so with a few weeks throw in Prado and Cairoli and we are ready for best season in a long time

If Gasjer wasn't there, it'd be considered somewhat normal service!

243 was on the gas no doubt but anyone can see even yesterday Herlings is a little off his game.
Go figure
