Sucks about AC and Webb. On the AJ Catanzaro press day track walk video he even said the landing off that dragon's back was way out there. Seems a bit prophetic now.

Anyone else see Eli flick the switch to Beast Mode the second he passed Roczen? He was starting to amp it up, and was visibly hesitant to ride Ken hard in order to pass him. Eventually wasn't left much choice, then as soon as he cleared him he was on. Different rider in that second half of the race. His body language and bike lean angles were clearly more aggressive.

To me that suggests a huge improvement in his mental game this year. It's like he knew he had time (and speed), waited, waited, then realised once Jason passed Zacho that he had to get going.

At first I was a little concerned seeing him just kind of seemingly stuck in 4th, but in retrospect I'm lead to believe he knew exactly what he was doing.

Meh.....Actually I didn't see it like that. Kenny had the door shut on him well before the take off to that triple , and Kenny knew it , and it's why he backed off and only doubled in. If that pass would have been about 2 seconds later , it would have been stupid and dangerous. But it didn't.

LOLOLOL, The Fernandez move on Christian Craig was just racing, Eli doesn't even make contact and tears are flowing.

Best night of racing this year in both classes. So pumped to see Kroc dicing for position and showing speed.
Great ride by Eli overcoming lame starts and keeping the Red Plate.

Bummed for Webb and AC9

Obviously Kenny didn't have a problem with it or he would have said something on the podium. I also doubt he would have shaken Eli's hand at the end of the race if he was upset about the move.

Great racing tonight for sure. Bummed for AC, Webb, and Jimmy.

I think it the line tomac took was the line most ppl took that faded wide so they could scrub to inside into the 90 corner. It gets close then 2 are are pretty close to each other. I honestly think it wasn't a intentional cross jump by him, just a setting up for the corner after it. We all know Eli hates ppl who cross jump by the takeout of webb that one year at daytona when he said Webb kept cross jumping him and he hates that as its dangerous.

I saw a replay on NBC sn and Eli had it leaned way over and on the gas. Most riders who make that pass hit the guy they are passing and I bet Andersen was expecting contact.
