Jim Holley Commentating

Jim Holley has some of the most mindless commentating during practice and qualifying. He adds zero value to the experience and no one cares about his racing past or his vet racing plans. He has some nerve to even say the word "_____ made a mistake there". He is not an analyst... he's an unqualified critic at best.

Please sideline this dolt or retire him from his role would be even better. Get someone on there with a million dollar personality. I should be able to hear the bikes and not have to put my tv on mute to avoid listening to his meaningless trivia and mispronunciation of the riders names.

Holley and Blair host a 4 hour show with very little action. It can’t be easy. I’d like to see anyone do that.

Exactly.... They should just run the roster on the side of the screen and drop down to just Daniel.

Try listening to Bill Walton commentate a basketball game then you should be a little more grateful.

You must be young......Holley's cool and he DOES know what he's talking about......did you even read Dirt bike magazine in the 80's and 90's........he's a legend to me just from the Dirt Bike Magazine photo's. Motocross wasn't invented yesterday.....

Obviously Jim plowed his Lady at some point, so the rage is expected.

I think Jim does a fine job when interviewing the riders during a pre-recorded segment. During the show, he tends to come off as "the old guy". Definitely a legend though.

Honestly, I'd like to see Dan Hubbard or Michael Antonovich in there but Dan's too busy calling the action inside the stadium and Michael is too busy shooting it. haha

Jeff, I’ve been as hard on you as almost anyone for some of the things you’ve posted on here, but your reply brings so much redemption and joy that I suddenly can’t even remember most of those times.

This reply definitely wins Vital for the month, and is in a STRONG position for post of the year so far.

Great job.

Sincerely.

Jim Holley jumps Harley Ultra Classics better than any bike I’ve ever jumped in my life. He’s a living legend.

And he raced one of those white ME125s, which was also bad ass!

Jim set the record on the nationals for plowing ladies back in the day. Prolly still in the top 5 today.
