I don’t entirely disagree with that. It needs to be a coordinated effort, but there are times the announcers can point something out or jump to a big moment and the producers can catch up. But during the race they can quickly toss in comments about riders who have gone down, or whatever, without waiting in cameras. Most should match the camera, but there are times I’d like to see them add some other details.

You gotta realize what your asking. You’re asking the announcers to watch two things at once in detail. That’s not realistic. They producers need to have better watchers and cut to the action on the track.
