Correct!...I guess being from Orefield, that one was easy.

The 1976 Pennsylvania National. Track was commonly referred to as Fogelsville or Seipstown. The cool story I had heard about the place was it was designed by Gerrit Wolsink. The Limontour Bros who owned Allentown Suzuki found the land and promoted the races. They had a connection with Suzuki, being one of the bigger dealers on the east. When Wolsink was in the area for a Trans-Ama race he was brought out to valley and laid out that epic track.

I'm not a native to the area and didn't come here till long after the place was gone. But have become very interested since I live less then 10 minutes away. Bought the MXA the national write up was in and believe I spoke with one of the Limontour bros. years ago. He was wearing an Allentown Maico jersey so I approached him at a swap meet. Believe that is RT22, now interstate 78 in the background. Was the track off Church rd which turns int Seipstown road just east of Seipstown? I would love to drive by and take a look. I know I have been past but just not sure where exactly I should be looking.

I wonder how many VitalMX'ers are zooming in on Google Earth right now. That track looks amazing. Would be cool if it weren't all condo's by now. Someone post a pic of the area please.

Imagine riding that track on a modern open class four stroke ? Those long up hills WFO must of been a blast ! Nothing like a natural terrain track, by far my favorite type.

Still there... North of the highway, west of town. Looks like K-9 Kampus is right in the middle of the track. Looks like some of the track is still there too.

Pretty cool that you got to walk the old track! I would be on the hunt for pieces and parts hidden in the leaves lol!

Looks like the starting gate would be about the same location as the building on the left looking south.

Impressive how the tracks was still visible 15 years later. No doubt that place was poached for years by locals

Driving up either Folk or Tercha Rd, you really cant get a good look into the valley were the track was. With foliage down this time of year you can a little visual. There are a couple farm access roads that lead to the valley. If your brave, you can drive back one of them and have a look.

Wish I lived closer! Guess I was bored that day back in 2014 when I looked on google earth. Would love to kick the dirt until I found a souvenir. The old bikes chucked parts off constantly (still do). Imagine tripping over a half buried silencer or side panel haha.

Thanks guys, maybe one day I’ll explore a little bit. Like I said it’s about 20 min from my house. Would be awesome to see about getting permission to ride there

So back in the day, I worked for Allentown Suzuki in the latter 70’s. The brothers Pepe and Julio were very well connected in the MX world. Old school mx’r Tony Distefano would regularly stop in along with the legend Ivan Boyesen. Ivan was still working in his garage before he had his patent for the Boyesen Reed valve, which we all now know was the most important innovation in motocross history. He launched and became a very wealthy man as we all know. During those days Pep and Julio wanted to promote and build a track that would rival the beast of the East, “Unadilla”. Well guess what, that happened! Seipstown as we called it, was a so called European track and one of the finest in its time. Designed by Wolsink but loved and groomed by the Allentown Suzuki fellows, it was bad ass! The 76 National was jammed and I will never forget it. My best recollection of that weekend was Harley Davidson team DNF’d and was the end of there motocross endeavors . I rode that track with Pep and Julio on there Maico’s and me on my RM125 back in the day. What a blast and amazing memories! This track should and could have rivaled any track in the world!

I was at the PMP National when at age 16. I have pics of it and will try to post them when I can locate them. It was a great local track. I never bought a bike from Allentown Suzuki, but did order a set of custom Hallman leathers and Heckel boots from them back in '75 or '76. It was a really cool dealership to stop in back then.
