For the guys that are dealing with the flu, have you gotten your flu shot this year? I started getting flu shots five or six years...

I wonder if the racers are getting flu shots. Seems like a no brainer for someone that spends as much time in the air as they do.
Exactly what I was thinking. Flu shots for sure.

I have been getting the flu shot every year for the past 10 years but its not always 100% sometimes they get it wrong but I will say I have only really gotten sick twice since I started getting vaccinated and I didn't seem to suffer as bad when I was sick

I had the same type of flu the last few years during Christmas and was even in the ER on Christmas day a few years ago after it turned into bronchitis. I never got flu's until my 30s. But started going to Disney every year around Christmas and it definitely started there. Last year my daughter, my wife and I were in the 6x8 room linking with our banshee on the Avatar ride. It was us and a family that were so sick they were barely making it, just coughing and dieing. There is a count down clock before you can exit. I was telling myself I know I can hold my breathe that long. It didn't work. Lol That flu lasted 6 to 8 weeks and was horrible. I fully expected to be sick this year but just aches and some head pounding but could just be life. Every morning I open my eyes and am surprised and thankful. The weird part is no flu shot this time and no flu. Only a minor sickness. My daughter has had it for a bit.

In the past I have used mega doses of vitamin C and echinacea to beat it down when it gets on me.
No flu shots for me since like 2010

If I was a Team manager of Roczen or Anderson I would be very annoyedAngry that the 450 Post race press conference forced their riders to sit in beside an obviously very sick Justin Barcia!Sick Dry
Surely in this instance wouldn't it have been prudent to have Justin forgo the press conference to save the risk of infection, or do riders get fined if they miss the obligatory Press conference?Huh

My wife, kids and I all got it, but it wasn't the flu. It was very flu like and both my wife and daughter were tested for influenza a and b, both came back negative. It hit me the hardest and I could barely stand up for 2 minutes without feeling like I was going to fall over. We all got over it, but it turned into a sinus infection for the wife and kids. I thankfully fought that part off even though I felt it trying to start. There's no way in hell I could have even loaded my bike up, let alone race for 20+ 1

So this creepin crud started about 30 years ago when it would sweep through the Supercross field at least once a year?

Got it......
