Ha ha, I actually bought more TSLA today, along with more MAXR and NIO. I have a problem. Smile But yeah, I could trade in my TSLA right now for the high end Cybertruck. Smile

Call me stupid, but explain to me how does it work. Markets are solely driven on consumer spending now. Manufacturing is down big time. After tax cuts budget deficit went up big time. Feds injecting trilions of dolars in to markets- more than in crisis dozen years ago. Basically USA is spending money they don`t have to keep markets up. How is this sustainable?

It's called a blow off top.

They can be pretty intense.

Is this you VOID?

Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle Corporation and one of the world's richest men, joined the Tesla board on Dec. 27, 2018. Before he did, though, he purchased 3 million shares of electric carmaker's stock, the company said late last year.
The closing value of those shares the day he joined the board was about $948 million, a stake representing 1.7% of Tesla shares. That makes him the second largest shareholder on the board after CEO Elon Musk.
For the first six months, Ellison's investment looked like a bad bet. Tesla (TSLA) shares tumbled 43% before hitting a 52-week low of $179.61 a share on June 3.
But since then the stock has been on a tear. On Monday Tesla stock crossed $500 a share for the first time in the company's history, and it kept climbing Tuesday as a variety of stock analysts raised their target price for shares. Even with a slight decline in shares on Wednesday, the stock price has nearly tripled in value since the June low and is up 68% since the day Ellison joined the board.

That translates into a paper profit of $1.6 billion on Ellison's Tesla holdings since he joined the board.

Anyone have NVAX? I thought I got that tip from this thread. Regardless, I was way down, and in the last two days I am now up, slightly. Smile It paid to stick it out in this case. Now if my TRXC would ever perform...

smashingpumpkins guy was deep into MDR as I recall.

Better hope hanging in for the long haul gets him out of the hole.

Bummer. I have had a great streak of luck the last few months (knocking on wood). My entire TD Ameritrade portfolio has doubled just since October, mostly due to TSLA's tear here recently.

I cashed out a little while ago. Lost around $1500, but I just had to pull the plug when they started talking about bankruptcy.

New registrations halved in CA last quarter

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/01/16/new-tesla-registrations-in-california-n…

Car industry has been going downhill last year of so.

In my 30 min work commute I might see 1 Tesla a day, maybe none.

Has largest market cap of any auto maker ever.

I don't have any skin in the game either way but what a f'n joke.

Electric cars continue to dominate in Norway, as 2019 saw EV sales rise to 42.4%, up from 31.2% in 2018, according to OFV. This represents almost a 1/3 increase in EV sales from year to year.

Adding in plug-in hybrid sales, about 56% of Norway’s new car sales in 2019 had a plug.

Sales numbers were buoyed by a record year for Tesla, whose Model 3 was the most popular car in Norway in 2019.

For some months last year, Tesla was the best-selling brand overall in the country. However, by the end of the year Tesla ended just shy of Volkswagen. Volkswagen took the number 1 spot, with Tesla trailing VW’s sales numbers by less than 1%.

But the Tesla Model 3 was the most popular single model in the country, dethroning the Nissan Leaf which led in 2018. The Model 3 itself had an 11% market share in Norway, with 15,683 vehicles sold. This is over 50% more than the second-place VW Golf.

I'm still pumping money into Abbvie and vym. Have been for months and my largest positions along with Disney. Glad I only put some change in on cbdmd and got in around its current price mostly but it is so popular and so many sports have it plastered everywhere that it's price is kind of confusing but similar to most cannabis stocks it is not doing well yet. The Volcom pipe pro surf contest is on live everyday right now for 8 hours and the commentators mention it every few minutes or everytime someone gets drilled.
I tried to do a big day trade the other day and lost 500 in minutes, thought I was slick but got my shit pushed in. Lol

The thing is people could get into TSLA right now and make much much more over the coming years. It's not done, just getting started.

I believe so as well but since I am just putting "extra" money in my portfolio's Tesla seems a bit pricey for my strategy but I believe it is a great play.
