1/7/2021 8:56am What a melt up! It's going to be something watching a stadium full of "investors" all try and hit the one exit door in the far back all at the same time.

1/4/2021 12:04pm Why I get the fact that they have pretty much no personal rights in China, and in theory, they could just lock everyone up in their house until it completely goes away, buuuuut, China is pretty much the only country reporting positive GDP numbers since around April. The container ships are back on the seas, nearly everything I'm seeing on...

1/2/2021 6:39pm We’re talking about the same country that in 2019 had to slaughter and burn half they’re pigs because they let the African Swine Flu burn through it’s ag system. The same country that still uses voodoo and rhino horn powder in they’re hospital system to cure cancer. There’s got to be more going on under the surface than they locked...

1/2/2021 12:00pm Let me reiterate, your not going to convince me that the communist party is some sort of magical genius of viral containment. Now a genius at controlling the messaging and visual of a situation. That I could believe.

1/2/2021 11:27am Will the insanity continue for Tesla for another 12 months? Or will reality rear its head and probably one of the most overvalued stock bubbles in history collapse under its own weight? Guess time will tell

1/2/2021 8:07am What a weird situation. China with a population of 2 billion and the densest populations in the world, is officially reporting pretty much no more deaths since March, and only 20 or so positive cases per day. Your not going to convince me that the communist party is some sort of magical genius of viral containment.

12/30/2020 1:36pm Since I posted up that last chart a few weeks ago of M1 money supply (which was showing data through October), check out the latest chart with Decembers data. Looks like those money printers haven't had a break since March (really since 2008).

12/17/2020 1:54pm Interesting phenomenon: Since around 2018 over 60% of the gains in stocks happen in overnight trading. Trading returns during open hours looks pretty flat since Jan 2018. Looks like we got to rename it from day trader to night trader.

12/16/2020 7:52am Late night tv ad in 2030 "Did you recieve a Covid-19 vaccine in 2021? You may be entitled to compensation, please call Saul Goodman and Associates" Just messing around.... I'll take a pass on it though, I'd chance Covid rather than a be a test dummy for a "warp speed" vaccine.

12/11/2020 8:19am Good interview on the rediculousness of all of these money loosing silicon valley unicorns getting huge IPO evaluations. For example, Air B&B. They have lost money every single quarter since they started in 2008. These companies are selling 20$ bills for 10$ and trying to make it up on volume.

12/11/2020 8:13am He's got one thing right: "this will end a violent horrible end" He's got one thing wrong though, unless the fed wants to completely collapse this house of cards, they will not raise rates, or tighten monetary conditions in the slightest. They will try and fight inflation with inflation.

12/8/2020 2:25pm Well if you believe the feds official garbage CPI inflation numbers then were only seeing inflation of 0.5% The Fed has a pretty big incentive to underreport inflation to keep confidence in the dollar, keep a lid on interest rates, and to keep social security payments down because they're tied to the official inflation rate. In my small world though...

12/7/2020 3:37pm It's a chart of M1 money supply, aka the amount of cash or cash equivalents in the system. The Fed has increased this amount by 40% in the past 8 months. Now all together now..... thank you federal reserve bank for diluting the dollar and pushing up asset prices. No pain for billionaires

12/7/2020 11:58am I don't think going from 0.37 to 0.40 million unit sales from 2019-2020 is "on track" for sales to go to 20.0 million in the next 10 years. I don't think software services and insurance are going to make up for the rest of the 10X growth per year they're going to need. From what I've seen, solar is a...

12/7/2020 10:48am Ok, now I get it... Toyota will most likely go out of business around 2030-2035, sales down to 0. Tesla sales will go from 0.37 million to 40.31 in that same time span to justify the market cap of 800/share, an increase of 108 times. Soooo a unit sales increase of 7.2 to 10.8 times sales per year for the...
