Seriously? If the dude is having fun and wants to go out and race a final year and enjoy himself...by all means he's earned that shit. Who cares how he does? I think everyone including himself would like to see him doing better, but I think he's just out there to enjoy one last hurrah before the next chapter. I'm 38, and if I could go out and ride with the best dudes in the world and end up 22nd within 20 seconds of the fastest dudes on the planet, I'd do it in a heartbeat. He wants to cap off as many main starts as he can before he hangs up his hat, I say more power to him. The dude's a legend, let him see himself out the way he sees fit.
