I thought it would be interesting to see what people load their bike in when they want practicality as well as horsepower. There's obviously loads of fast utes in Australia, but I'm interested to see some do it all cars from around the world. Bonus points for pictures at the track/with a bike loaded.
Here's mine to start. Holden Commodore ute, 6L V8, 400whp. Nice and low for loading the bike, has cup holders on the tailgate Wink

My brother had a SS sedan. I’m not going to say I borrowed it responsibly. I can’t imagine how much trouble I’d get into in the Ute version!

Back in the late 90’s I used to rip to the track in a very low dove blue 59 VW single cab with safari windows, 2076cc dual carb motor and straight axel transmission that straight up hauled ass! I never knew if I was going to make it to the track or back home and spent many times under the damn thing late at night with a flashlight, duct tape and bailing wire. It was a pain in the ass but it never completely stranded me and smelled awesome when I dumped my left over pre mix in it so I wouldn’t run out of gas!

Cool ride!

I live in Texas, and 400 hp trucks are pretty common, and can get in and out of "dirty" situations.

I dig that Holden though. First time seeing one.

More like 600rwhp trucks are very common...they are everywhere now and quicker than most sports cars. My old diesel still runs as strong as the day I built it in 2001. It's still way more fun to drive than the new one but I have to be really careful with the smoke in CA now...they are cracking down big time. Not the place to own a hot rod or hot rod diesel anymore. Not fun trying to get 'em smogged...

I was being subdued.
My truck is probably around 425 hp, can pull a 10,000 pound trailer around, seats 4 comfortably, and has 250,000 miles on it.

I still like the Holden "El Camino".

My poor mans fast bike hauler. Built it for hauling a dirt bike and haven’t had a bike since I finished it. Hopefully that will change soon. But it has a cammed 5.3L V8 with a 6 speed. Rides like a ton of bricks and isn’t that cool to look at but is quite fun to press the gas pedal.
