Dylan Ferrandis Freestyle Bars

Edited Date/Time 1/5/2020 9:25am
Is it me or does Ferrandis run really high bars? They look like a freestyle bend! Kinda reminds me of early Ricky Carmichael when he ran his levers pointed to the sky.

Yeah his bar looked so much higher then everyone elses. Seems like euros tend to ride with higher bars. He has unique style in his corners too, seems to sit futher back with a real straight back.

Yeah, look at J Prado also. Not as high as Ferrandis bend but still really really high!
My guess is that euro riders are used to stand up much more than U.S. riders, also in euro we ride a lot of deep sand and a taller bar is a better choiche.
While in supercross, low bars seems to be more used because it’s easier to corner with them.
My two cents

Thought Ferrandis was spittin some heat in the post-race presser, based off the title.

Those are the new “Orange County Chopper” bend.

Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed. I’d love to hear why he prefers that tall of a bar.

Tomac as well, his bar setup seems so weird to me.

I think when he started working with DV he changed his bars and levers to be even higher/flatter.

That’s the bars/bar bend he’s use to riding with. DV mentioned it when he first started working with him. Getting him comfortable on the bike and using his normal bar bend he was using in the GP’s.

I sent a tweet out after the first time practice to DV. For some reason they look really tall but he says they are the same bend that have always used, just a different manufacturer. (Nekken)

I think Tomac cuts his bar width. They look narrow

They’re high too, higher than AC’s also, who I’d guess has a couple inches on Eli height wise?

High bend? Those are Ape Hangers! Hey they work for him. I bet NeKken fills a lot of orders this week!

DV said they're the same KW bend as they have been.
I think difference in appearance is the crossbar

I hoped this thread was about a sick video where Ferrandis would freestyle some dope rap barz.
