Who bought Pourcel's track off I4 in Florida?

Just passed it on the way to Disney. It used to look decent years ago and then it was flattened and a lot of dirt removed. It was a flat overgrown field the last few trips by. Today it looked like a pro track with big jumps and looked like heaven with one motorhome parked in the middle. I kind of forgot about it but my jaw dropped when I saw it and passed too fast to take a pic. Headed home a different route in a few days but was curious who took it over.

It’s always been owned be the same person, CP rented the property from him. At one point it was rented by a mini rider and tamed down.

No, there is plenty of clay in northern central Florida up through Georgia.

I thought Pourcel’s place was in the middle of nowhere in Groveland FL, not near a major highway. It was for sale a couple years ago

The one off I4 used to be owned by the Osbourne family that used to have a Honda dealership in town , It held schools by Kenny Yoho and Vince for a time . Its now privately owned . There are several private tracks in that area just not visible by the i4 .

Thats was cp’s house i believe had a track in back yard. I cant remember but i dont think it was near there.

Anyone know what the status of Swinks track? Heard ronnie tichenor bought it years ago. Back around 1995 there were some top pros that could barely get around the sx track. the outdoor track had a downhill triple through trees. they used to laugh about all the guys hitting trees!

You're correct his place was deep in Groveland. No where near I-4. The track off I-4 was privately owned rode there a few times but haven't been in 4 years or so.

Drove by today. Looks like they are putting in a soupy track. This is the old quick trax i believe it was called, right by the rest area off i4.

I think Quick Track was part of the Lakeland “USA International Speedway” until the mid-late 2000s. The track that can be seeen from I4 by the rest area was “I4-MX” a couple years back.
