It was a bit sad seeing his abandoned FL track this morning. I couldn't help but think it's current condition is sort of a metaphor for Chad Reed the motocross racer: showing it's age, nearing the end, and not what it once was....but still a total badass lurking under there. What a run that dude has had..and it ain't over yet!

Everyone says about bikes hurting the environment and being bad for the soil. The greenest grass is on the track!

Does anyone know when the first off season race he is doing is? Is Paris first idk the dates. Just trying to figure what’s the latest we would have to wait until we get an official update.

Love him or hate him, Chad has been an icon in the sport. It's too bad we are likely going to only get him on the gate at A1 and then it's farewell. It would be great if he could do the whole season as a farewell tour. It's looking as though the last time I see him live will have been Seattle 2019, which did not end well.

If it wasn't coming from you, I'd say no way Reedy is racing MEC. If the JGR thing didn't work out, which is what it looks like, I'd fully expect him to just build a bike fast enough and ride just enough to get him in to the main event at A1 and then call it quits, sell everything off and go car racing instead.

He also isn't on the entry list.

Not trying to discredit JT$ because he's way more in the know than I am or will ever be... but CR22 is not included in the current list of MEC riders.

I'm surprised on both Reedy and MC's places. Both seem amazing and neither one have sold. MC's Thing ranch seems overpriced but still no real movement. Has the "private track" money all dried up or does everyone already have one that wants one?

Youre 100% on point.....look at these pictures of an abandoned theme park and look at how much nature has already reclaimed the land.

This was completly asphalted over and built up with nothing but a few planters here and there. On a geologic time scale nature will return this to overgrown woods in less than a blink of an eye.

Now compare asphalt parking lots with all of the tar and oil byproducts that it contains and concrete pads to a manicured and tiled mx track where nothing but possibly organic matter such as saw dust or wood chips etc. have been added to the soil and nothing has been paved over and i honestly believe tracks are actually improving the soil and in no way causing any permanent damage ( as long as some simple cautions are observed in terms of run off, fuel spills etc. )

MEC = Audition. Ala Bam Bam 2017.

Show up, do what you can, network/speak to teams, hopefully impress on track, become the #1 choice for a fill-in, go from there.

You got any proof other than your opinion? Otherwise your info is no more valid than mine. Chad has plenty of resources that he doesnt need to borrow a mechanic from JGR IMO.
