Does anyone know what happened to Aiden Tijero? It seemed like he was on top of the world on the 125 with social media and results. Now he rarely post and never anything motocross related.

Used to frequently see his Sprinter around Huntington Beach, but not lately. Wondering the same thing...

Taking the appropriate time to recover from a shoulder injury.

Is this guy still out there? Was thinking about him during lorrettas as I remember him racing and beating most of the kids who are ready to graduate to the pros now

Last time I spoke to Aiden he mentioned something about taking a different career path outside of moto. Not sure if much has changed since early this year.

Sounds like a smart kid.

Hopefully he's still out ripping for fun!

I know it was only a 4 lap exhibition race but you would think beating a guy that was one of the fastest guys ever on a MX bike would jump start a career but our messed up amateur system only caters to a select few that have connections or were noticed at a young age and the rest are led to fend for themselves. We really need a system like MXGP so amateurs can race on a real track for 20 minutes + 2 laps to showcase their talents.

Most of the Nationals have a 2 day Amateur Program before the National don't they? It's been my experience these are pretty competitive and bring out most the guys in the 'region'.

I saw tons of Team guys watching motos on Friday at Washougal...nothing stopping a fast Amateur from showing up at a few of those and turning some heads.

I know it's not a perfect solution but to say that Amateurs don't have some opportunity to go out and ride real tracks in front of decision makers is not 100% true.

They do with 4 lap motos. with 30 classes...I'm talking about 20 minute motos for future pros to show what they can do, not just their holeshot skills.

He raced Loretta Lynn's 7 times from 2011 through 2018, travels the country hitting all the big amateur races, represented the USA in the FIM Junior World Motocross Championships in Czech Republic and Australia, podiumed Monster Cup, raced RV in the 125 all star class, had a KTM orange brigade ride and was a Monster Energy athlete. I don't know why he's no longer racing, but it's not from a lack of exposure or opportunity.

Any update on Aiden? A buddy of mine and I were talking about the 125 all star/dream races and had to rewatch that video of him winning hangtown, so sick! Makes me want some of the amateur nationals to have a vet 125 class!

pretty sure he's working with his parents. I believe they own a contracting company and something in real estate.
