Taking your drop in moto 1 is tough... but more DNF’s are likely, even for the top teams. I bet the scoring is still all over the place after the next moto. But NLD looks to be doing what was expected.

One thing I have much respect for is that even with a broken clutch, Cooper still stayed out 30 minutes in the slop.

Raining here at home also. How fitting. Is 7AM too early to start drinking?

No interruptions in the broadcast during the race, no sponsor commercials, no cutaways, just complete racing. Props to MXGP-Tv for that!
I really liked the special effects with all the rain drops and that, felt like I was there!

No he didnt. He get's passed on the inside by the leader and moves outside where unfortunately Herlings is just coming.
As a dutchie it obviously sucked because i think Herlings would have gotten the win, but in those conditions that is just something that happens

Man, that was some awesome racing. The trackcrew worked magic last time around. Hope they can do something now too for next moto, but I think they're running out of options here with the nonstop rain.

I love the effort by team USA. But damn what a let down right off the bat. Cooper and Osborne both need to be inside the top 5 the next moto for any chance at a podium.

Absolutely anything can happen and probably will.

It ain't gonna be over till the last corner of the last lap of the last race.
Hmm, not sure that we are unless Sterry and Simpson both go top 5 in the next race 😒

Paulin was so close to finish 3rd and lose only 1 point to Herlings, amazing ride too.

Regarding the comments that this race was a lottery... how comes that the first 3 riders are the world champions? Luck?

Absolutely! And possibly injured too.

I was surprised he didn't pull off at first but I think he definitely made the right choice. At this point anything can still happen.

He didn't really screw him at the end of the wave section, nothing he could've done about that. But the next straight he was still full throttle in stead of moving aside.

Yeah, it is going to take some miracle effort from this point on to even maybe have a chance.

Looking at the points it's possible that the Nederlands wrap this up after the next moto??

Yes, as expected.
Im just stirring the pot a little but Herlings is on another planet and Calvin did what he had to.

If the Hoff wins the next moto and Calvin finishes strong it could be over....but as we saw with Cooper..anything can happen. The fat lady hasn't started yet...

Can anyone confirm what actually happened to Cooper? If Anderson really hit him that’s just got to be the worst luck since, well, Anderson got landed on.

Lottery as in Herlings bike could easily blow up in the next race, or Prado could get stuck like the Aussie rider...

Clearly those 3 all rode really well in that race, but look at what happened to Justin Cooper. It's a case of survival for most guys out there.

Herlings is insane, he is riding like the track isn’t complete slop, making it at least fun to watch.

USA boys aren’t so good in these conditions...
