You should have moaned two years prior when Assen was selected. Nowadays it is kinda lame and out of touch.
Sorry buddy, but he's entitled to his opinion without your BS. The track does suck for this event whether it is two years ago or today.

Oh and STFU. Woohoo

If this man made track is acceptable for this race then maybe we need to think about having it at Daytona next time we get to host!

If you look at it by the hour on BBC... the heavy stuff starts when the races start.

Lets hope for a shift in timing so at least a couple motos are under clear weather.

It continues to look sketchy... I certainly hope that it is a lighter rain and the track doesn't completely break down.

They aren’t. Normal admission, there is nowhere else to watch

I'm hoping the amount of rain actually helps the track. Deep sand in a lot of areas , and probably a lot better to ride when moist. Just hope it doesn't flood from the pavement up and become a nightmare.

Agree.... Funny thing is when I said basically the same thing, someone thought it should be down voted.

I guess they want this:

The sand currently looks amazing. I just hope it doesn't downpour the whole weekend.

Forecast seems to have eased a bit, now calling for 1/2 - 3/4" of rain on Sunday. That won't make much of a difference other than visibility and goggles.

At this point the most rain will fall after 17:00 reporting a Dutch weather site...

A little shower between 12:00 and 13:00. Both sunday.

But we need to wait and see how it really turns out.

That's what I was thinking. Steep edging, soft sand and wet cement ain't a great formula.

Wasn’t necessarily the concrete I was worried about. More the fences, lamp posts and stuff nearby the edge of the track. I’m sure they haven’t finished sorting all that stuff out yet so I’m not overly concerned. The track on the whole looks good. They just need to pad all that stuff up

Haha , yep. Thanks brother ( and you too Muscle Milk! ). Been back for a little less then a week , just haven't been posting. Really looking forward to watching the MXoN's race though , and sure hope it isn't a flooded mess like what Press516 posted above. Fingers crossed , but hope their are like 5 teams that could win in the final moto! I know I go against the grain on this , but I actually enjoy watching the races on the Assen track. Can get pretty knarly and create some great racing.

One more thing , obviously rooting for our guys , but man I'm also rooting for Prado. That kid has become my favorite rider ever since his 125 days. Kid is incredible, humble , and has skills for days. I see a big and bright future for that kid!
