track looks perfect and the sun is trying to shine. Facilities are top notch. We drove straight in without a single delay, parked on hard roadway and were trackside in minutes. Sitting under a covered stand with great view.

I said the same thing after I attended the GP there. I get the point why they go to places like that. And the track is pretty good at Assen. Everyone should atleast attend it before just bashing it.

And since someone is gonna read what they want and say I think there should be more races like Indonesia or Turkey or China, those shitholes have nothing to do with a worldclass facility like Assen.

Both of those tracks have excellent facilities and pretty much every rider really liked the China track.
Fair point. Meant more like the rider turnout, crowd, and what the tracks have been likw for the most part at these places.

Oh there are definitely reasons to bash some of the flyaways, but facility wise they are very good... Even the hotel aspect is vastly superior at these places because they are built near towns or cities.

They certainly aren't perfect and I wouldn't want a season full of them, but Turkey and China are actually pretty good events (without getting into the whole man-made track debate)

So the forecast looks cold, windy, and 100% rain for sure? Rain with heavy winds will make for a serious mess out there.

Osborne could shine in if it gets bad out. Cooper possibly too with a good start. Anderson is my concern if the rain starts coming down. He’s never been a great mud rider. its going to get really interesting tomorrow. If it gets sloppy I wouldn’t be surprised if Belgium takes the win. Experience will matter a lot more than normal in the slop. We all know JVH and Strijbos are full of experience.

When the water content gets too high, it turns to slop... it’s not sticky, but it’s a mess.

Sand with rain, wet cement. That means it’s a Ted Nugent “Free for All”

Damn, this is crazy! Me and a couple other guys made this track for a game a couple weeks ago and this picture is damn near identical to one I took as a track preview. I know no one probably cares but I thought the coincidence was wild and I’m pretty proud how close it resembles the real thing! Smile

Bummed to hear, I was hoping for a semi-dry track

I don’t know about biblical, we can hear it on the hotel windows when it rains hard and it hasn’t been like that hard all night but it’s certainly rained a fair bit. It’s fairly windy though so that might help dry things off a bit

Thank god it's a sand track at least if it's gonna rain. I've seen video of this track in the rain and even though it looked hard as hell to ride the track still came around a bit. Could make the results very interesting. Starts are gonna be HUGE.

Rain or shine, I always like seeing the lads ride for their countries at the MX Des Nations. Wish the track was a bit more but for a rain race we might be ok. Good luck Team USA, rip it up.

13C and some sections are OK, some others a mudder. The 125cc boys are struggling. Condtions are OK but in the limit.
