The build has started... I'm stuck for a while, still waiting on suspensions, wheels, engine. It looks like the next time I'll work on it will be mid next week...

Gotta love when DV tells you he can't buy a subframe, especially while free parts are pouring from everywhere...

Im not that smart when it comes to the bottom end of the engine. What is the problem? Looks like it all moves freely to me.

DV please consider finishing this thread by posting a POV of you at the Vet worlds in 2020.I'm pretty sure you could be ready for 2019 as you have 2 months but I wouldn't want to pressure you plus I know you gotta save up to get that sub frame replaced. Like a dog hair floating around the inside of your goggles you won't be able to relax with the way it is.

The crank bearing is bad. The rod should move as the crank rotates.

I remember seeing a picture of it. Still though, why do it?

Obviously this would normally be an issue with sponsors. Must be some amazing power combo then.

I believe Yamaha didn't have a pipe sponsor at the time so it wasn't a problem.

Thank you. I didn't realize that. It just seemed like a conflict of interest for something that may or may not change much.

I’d love to see how many of the top factory racers can change a tire.

Pretty cool that DV can do it, but he also came from a different time.
