This was 1 of the coolest-looking Factory bikes, in my opinion.

I always loved the look of the YOT bikes and the 05 bike was just so cool, in general. I also think it stood out because at that time, the 250Fs were all still pretty ugly compared to the 125.

I asked Throttle Jockey how Woody ended up on the bikes, and they told me Honda had a deal with Universal (Disney? Whoever owns these brands..) and they created these one off graphics to promote the movies as they were coming out. Once the partnership ended, Woody came off the bikes. Definitely interesting for sure.

Do you think Honda paid Universal for promotion into the Hollywood seen or do you think Universal paid Honda for the promotion into Motorsports?

For Honda to go with black plastics, I'm sure it was a lot of money.
Never thought about the black plastic change being such a big deal but you are absolutely right. Throttle Jockey has some great creative thought, I wish HRC would allow them to get a little more creative every now and then for the one off events.

I would love to see a fast food joint on a bike now a days, taking a bite after a 30+ min moto on the podium to show you actually eat it like the energy drinks lol

Yep, those!
Back then, I knew someone who rode a roached out CR. They ordered a set of the HoT graphics (red and black, only ones available to the public then) and were mistakenly sent the blue ones. Instead of hanging on to them and putting them on a bike worthy, they slapped them on their POS...bubbles, wrinkles, crappy plastic, and rusty (like Titanic rusty) PC pipe and all...made me want to cry.

This. I miss the days where the graphics continue into the seat cover
