Thanks for the post and love guys! And thanks to ML for inviting me out to test the new bikes. It was a blast! Tomorrow I'll be posting another "One Lap on Each Bike" GoPro video from our second day at Fox Raceway, then after I race Unadilla I'll start posting videos of my first impressions on each individual bike. I plan on posting them in order from my least favorite to my favorite, so if you're a fan of a certain yellow bike you're in luck Grinning

"you're rider?"

From the outside looking in, it appears that your relationship with Jeff was fueled by your need to quickly build a YouTube subscriber base. I would say Jeff has one of the better, if not the best, pro moto YouTube vlogs right now. Help him dial in suspension on the Husky and then hook him up with some Kit suspension in exchange for hanging around the pits and some appearances/callouts on his vlogs....nicely done.

Apologies if you take offense, but it's fairly transparent.
The my rider comment was sort of a joke towards Billy for doing the usual someone is better than him comment, but getting him sponsors and help has been a priority of mine as of late because I want to help. I’ve never asked him to give me a shoutout in a video and my first time meeting him in person was due to some of his fans reaching out/giving me shit for not featuring him in any content. I caught up with him at Fox Raceway and quickly found out how little help he had, so we did a little running around that afternoon and got him a few deals. I had no clue I was even going to end up in his vlog from that round.

He’s a good dude and hard worker, definitely deserves what he’s getting support wise now and I’m working on getting him a bunch more, along with trying to help him find ways to monetize his channel better, approach and pitch to new brands, and make it to where he can continue produce content for the Moto community.

Over the past few years I’ve helped a few privateers get certain things they needed, due to my job I’m am extremely lucky to basically get whatever I need with a phone call and I’d like to see that support passed onto worthy individuals. Honestly, the amount of stuff media gets is kind of mind blowing and I feel for some of the guys out there busting their tails for a slice of it. And as for Jeff, there’s the possibility to get him a ton more support for 2020 and let him chase his ambitions full bore, and the dude never takes it for granted. I’ve honestly got way too much shit on my plate right now and Jeff constantly comments that I’m crazy for my work load, but I consider him a good friend now and that’s all the excuse I need to add more shit to my plate of things go do.

Has helping Jeff helped my presence on YouTube grow? Yes. Did I ask him to do it? No. Am I grateful it has happened? You betcha! We both share a very common want/goal, to keep riding dirt bikes and have the most fun while doing it.

In turn I’m going to double down my efforts and make sure he accomplishes what he has set out to do, because that’s what friends are for.

I’m sorry if my tongue in cheek joke has given you some sort of leech theory of me, but I do take offense of your thought on it as it’s not the case.

I didn’t do the same rotation as Jeff, it’s was technically my photo/video day so I didn’t track my times as I kept running around to get photos and video. i didn’t end up with many complete laps to track and compare for this track, I’m more focused on data for Thursday and I did a bit of tracking yesterday.

You must bleed yellow. It seems every time someone posts something you don’t agree with in regards to the Zuk you get defensive.
I remember posting a while back about the Honda turning as well as the Zuk & you responded with an insult.
Chill out bro..

I am very chill man. I do bleed yellow, after riding red for over a decade. But do you see me bagging on other bikes calling them a piece of shit? Also, I stand by my comment that still, nothing turns as well as a zook IMO 🙂 BTW I don’t recall insulting you. I recall implying that you’d never rode a newer Zook. My bad if I did

Lets all be thankful that ML is continuing to do what he's doing. It takes a lot of guts to go out on your own and start your own deal - ask anyone on this thread who's started their own company. If he wants to help out a local pro rider, and he gets press for doing that, then good for him.

I personally value his reviews more than anyone else's on the net, and I watch them allSmile

He felt right at home with that Honda! Is he riding a Honda by his own? Looked good.

The laptime of the Suzuki could be for sure a second lower, he made a few mistakes during that lap.

That Yamaha still looked hard to turn IMO. Is the change really better?

Almost certain ML isn’t paying much of anything to get bikes to review. No way could he feasibly purchase 6 450s/250s, all the kit suspension etc.

Maybe he’ll chime in

The Zuk engine sounds tame in comparison to the rest of the bikes.

He did mention that he bought the yz 450. I didn't see anything about the other brands. The 450 he bought still had Chap stickers all over it so can only assume they gave him a dealer price?

Cool way to do a review, but not relevant to me, as I am so damn slow that no bike of mine will ever be ridden like that, nor see those speeds. I can go slow on a 125, 250, 350, or a 450. I'm just more likely to get hurt on a 450 when it wears me out. 90% of us watching that vid don't need a 450 and can't make it work like Walker can. I'm probably low on that estimate....

I straight up paid for three of them and found a way to get the other three sort of taken care of...those will still cost me something in the end but not a bunch.

I'd like to say I'm committed to my new venture or maybe I'm just crazy...we shall see...

I'd like to say I'm committed to my new venture or maybe I'm just crazy...we shall see...
How exactly do you earn a paycheck per-say? Always wondered that with a lot of the industry folk who do what you do. How do the bills get paid?

Almost certain ML isn’t paying much of anything to get bikes to review. No way could he feasibly purchase 6 450s/250s, all the kit suspension etc...

I think your flat nuts... But thats usually what it takes to be successful.. You are double, if not tripling down on yourself. If you keep at it long enough you will be successful, and the off chance it doesnt, you'll know you gave it everything.

and that will lead you into your next adventure to becoming a successful businessman.

Keep it up ML512, ive been a fan of yours for years.. super chill to talk to in the pits, and you and Keefer in my opinion have the best reviews of products/bikes.. You build every bike up in a certain aspect, and while you say some are slighting better than others in areas, you never say they are piece of shit bikes/products.

Keep going man!.

I can’t even ride anymore but I still enjoy the hell out of watching these videos. Always look forward to the videos Michael does also. Keep up the good work and ignore all the idiots.
