The waypoint looks Cool! The track editor, however...really bland. It looks like excitebike 64/mtx mototrax/ATV off-road Fury 4 editor. I Guess implementing elevation changes is something we'll see later if we all rage and comment on their Facebook page (milestone requested feedback,so..)

Some of you guys really bullied Milestone into adding Waypoint into an MXGP game. I honestly don't understand the attraction 1 bit, would've rather they spent the time and effort on improving the game physics

Pretty disappointing that the track editor doesn't appear to allow for elevation changes.

The waypoint seems way out in left field to me. I wasn't really expecting that (or wanting it.) That time could've been used more into making better deformation on the tracks and environments for the track editor. Oh well. still got about a month and a half till release. Still time to make improvements.

Well actually It is a good thing. These games compared to the good old mx vs ATV games are really shallow, they lack variety of game modes, tracks, bikes etc. I Hope that someday milestone releases a Mx games in the style of Gravel or Ride, detatched from the official licence and featuring Nationals, freestyle, enduro, Supermoto, a lot of free ride Ares and a lot of bikes, like enduro ones, old gems like the Kx500 or CR500, Legends bikes, bikes with the awesome freestyle mods and graphics, and so on. But I think that they can do it only if we support them, and buy the games because mx games are a niche.

I agree they are avoiding important racing physics updates and that should be the priority. However, exactly how many releases do you need to figure out they don't want to do those changes? Since moving to Unreal, it's all graphical updates imo. Milestone seems to be heavily sided on graphical artists than physics programmers. But more to the point, once Milestone opened up free riding for players to try and enjoy open space, aka FUN riding, it makes perfect sense to allow us to make an enduro type of quick race scenario. Maybe a 2-flag gate approach would be better, but this is a start. The video is pretty bad about demonstrating it, but go back to the previous mxgp free ride area with the creek setting and trees. Placing a waypoint race within that environment seems like a fun option. Why can't we players have both serious racing AND fun options in a game. It is not the communities fault that Milestone does not want to make major improvements to physics. SMH

It’s a motocross game, designed around a championship. Its mxgp, it’s in the title. It doesn’t need waypoint and monster trucks. It needs accurate physics, accurate tracks and accurate racing. Motogp games don’t let you ride Harley’s in an open world. The mxgp series would benefit more from in depth customisation and bike set up, and more realistic track deformation.

This is from a core fans point of view.

This is a full gameplay video including the menus from an Italian videogame webzine. It looks kinda strange, looks like they've gone backwards to mxgp3, even tho the menu looks cool

I don't know about the physics, it's hard to tell but it doesn't look all that improved or significantly different. They've always looked fairly similar to me albeit with a gradual increase in game speed.

Trentino looks good there but then it always looks good, I know they can do that circuit quite well. The problem for me has been the circuits they continually do badly game after game - Kegums and Lommel etc. Very much interested in seeing footage from those to see if they've finally nailed them.

Milestone:

Career mode: EMX125, EMX250, MX2 and MXGP. Plus, the MXoN if you're selected.

Improve the physics, introduce track deformation that makes a difference and perfect the multiplayer/online side of things.

Also, get rid of the training element (which you'll implement in MXGP19) from MES2. It's dog s#@t. I'm all for having a training side to the game where you can accelerate the personal progress of your rider, but it's very one dimensional, given that you could ignore/not participate in every session and win every championship under the sun (with advanced physics/realistic competition) on MES2 and nothing improves the attributes of the rider.

Track editor. Great move! But if you can't create and have elevation changes on an MX game. Sorry, one of the biggest selling points of MXGP 2019 is lost!

P.S Waypoints? Heads gone!

Listened to SYS, was disappointed to hear Milestone only gave elevation changes "one week" before saying, ehhh screw it.

They need to have a variety of corners, some that are flat and you can power slide like mxgp pro and some that are tight with ruts from Mxgp3.

Less training as it’s difficult to tell if your riders ability is hampered if you don’t complete training objectives or if your still just adjusting to the game as a player.

Either way i am going to support milestone as they continue to progress with their games.

What have they progressed on since MXGP 1?

I am starting to loose patience with Milestone, i have bought all of their games but i feel we always hear the same music with them, they make promise on their facebook page, they make the hype growing through their comments and they always fall short because they don’t listen to us.

Man i just watch a video of Mx vs Atv on the New MillVille track (i don’t buy this series since Reflex and Alive) and they nail the track deformation ! You actually have ruts and bumps and both affects the way the bike ride ! I can’t believe Milestone can’t do the same since MXGP 1 ! Geez if we have again a supermoto sliding game i’m gonna loose it

so you’re complaining that the game you buy doesn’t have what you want but another game that does have what you want you refuse to buy?

Probably because Milestone is running the worst marketing campaign ever. From their "Find a Safe Place" teasers, "Rider Profiles" on their Facebook page, and the lack of any real official gameplay footage. It makes me think they really don't have anything new to show.

they don’t have anything new to show and they know it. shit, most of the gear i’ve seen for this game is the old stuff from what, 3? they’re main focus for this game was the 2019 season and it’s something hardly anyone will even notice. why making the game the current season was such a priority i’ll never understand. so strange to me. if i have to see those same ugly graphics and gear one more time i’m gonna vomit. i’ll still buy the game, don’t get me wrong. i am looking forward to making tracks, which we all now is gonna be average at best. i’m hoping the gameplay is tweaked to the point where it’s noticeable, and it’s for the better. i play these games mostly in fpv and right now, All Out is giving me that “feeling” i’m looking for. especially with the new tracks. this game will be beautiful but i feel like again, the gameplay will get old and simple.

their rider profile is thing they do is so stupid lol

Gonna skip this one. I maybe played mxgp pro a handful of times and this one looks no different besides a bland track editor.
