Cantrell, Falk, Justin Hill, who else is on the chopping block?

Anybody know what these riders have in plan? Just fade away like Josh Mosiman? (I know Josh is shooting for one of te media outlets)

Hill might be re-signed at JGR.

That has be an extremely tough pill to swallow for some of these kids who had one shot at it. Your life for the better part of 10 years has been focused on making this happen. The factory has stood behind you for the last 5-6 years, you got the shot you wanted, and missed. Now you are spit out the back and have to try to come back on your own.

If you have the resources, you put your head down and grind it out... Work harder, stay focused and perform your best.
The odds are not good, but it can be done.

Lets hope not. I'm shocked that Matthes even hinted at such a thing. I would lose all respect for JGR if they re-signed Hill. I'd be shocked if anyone signed him, I mean, come on.

If that's true, and ends up happening then we can for sure finalize the discussions about if JGR is under bad management. How can you think about doing the same thing and expect different results?

About the other guys at KTM losing their rides, it must be hard for them, I can see one of them heading to Cycle trader, maybe?

They would be crazy to resign him, he’s fast tons of talent. I just don’t think the drive is there to do what it takes. I think he is like his older brother and enjoys riding more then putting in the work for racing.

And JGR are scratching their head why they don't get a big title sponsor 😂

I think you have to look at who else would they sign? I knows it’s Vital’s dream that some privateer that gets top tens here and there gets a factory ride but it’s not realistic. Not to mention they can probably sign him for a much cheaper price than they did before and the potential for him to do well is still there, as hidden as it may seem.

Should take a chance on Party Marty or get Bogle back. Both better choices than Hill in my opinion.

The reason is "we can work with speed". He is a no brainer to resign if he's healthy and the savagty deal falls through. There might be a few othere guys they will also look at. BUT if no one better turns up he's a good choice.
If you can put hill on a result based program at a low low base salary he has a ton of upside. The guy has The absolute ability to be a 1st through 6th guy week in week out.

Me personally i would be looking at davalos if joey doesn't pull through. Davalos would be great on a 450

Marty is actually someone I forgot about, he’d be a good option IMO as well. I think I heard Matthes say that the last spot on Rocky Mountain KTM is between Bogle and Bloss and either of those guys are pretty good picks.

OK, that makes sense...however I think Bogel is a good option too, and may be more motivated to produce.

Are they keeping fast Freddy? Hope so, that makes more sense than Hill all day long.

If Joey signs with Honda, here are the 450 choices.
Hill
Bloss
Tickle
Davalos
Are the other guys and their future results good enough to warrant not bringing Hill back on a prove it deal? What’s the odds he has hit rock bottom and is going to kill it next year?

Maybe it's because JGR is with him at the practice tracks and races and know what he's been dealing with this year, unlike the people here that are hoping Hill dosen't get a job at all or will "lose respect" for JGR. Ha! I'm sure JGR will get over it. The Hill haters are so pathetic. Bet you guys would throw a fit if you made mistakes at your job and people started crying to your boss that you should be fired. Everyone here thinks they know everything there is to know about Hill, but in reality, you're just a bunch of armchair quarterbacks who know nothing other than he had mediocre results when he wasn't injured bad enough to not race. End rant. Flame on.

Edited to say this wasn't aimed directly at you or anyone in this thread particularly, but all the people on vital who are constantly hating on Justin and JGR.

When the big boss sends a text asking why the fuck they're still paying him, there's a problem.

JGR considering rehiring him after the big boss sends that text shows how disconnected he is from the MX SX side of the business. He said so himself in a recent Matthes podcast.

He was talking about Coy. The one who sent that text. The one that loves to make bold comments. No surprise to see the ultimate JGR hater chime in. Flame on flamer. I’m out.

Just to clear things up, Suzuki wasn’t the ones texting and asking why are we still paying him, it was Coy Gibbs texting that to Jeremy.

The Suzuki reps aren’t dumb, they know they’re still paying him because he is under contract.

There is no chance that Coy Gibbs let’s Hill ride next year for JGR.
