If youve only played the Milestone games then you really gotta give this game some time. It sounds like you already made your mind up though. It took me 2 days of playing to start to gel with it, and even longer to get good. All Out is way more rewarding to play imo.

I’m going to keep playing it I spent the money and bought tons of dlc before I even played it, just was curious if maybe I was missing something or there was some secret to making the game or physics play any better hahha.

If this is just how it is does anyone know how to get a refund from an online Xbox live purchase? Even if I am missing something there is no way this is even close to mes2!
The best advice I can give is to look back at the previous few pages of this thread of the videos Sweetd posted about realistic tuning settings. For just starting this game, the realistic tuning will make you enjoy it more.

The dlc for this game has been included inside the patches and buying it just unlocks it. We should be getting a patch soon since release of the dlc is tomorrow. Anybody heard anything about patch details and when it's going live?

If it's like normal DLC's, it depends on when Xbox/PS release it (that's my understanding at least)... It could be 11pm ET tonight, or 5pm ET tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping they do the patch release at some point today so tomorrow we can just buy it but it's already installed. If I have to download it all tomorrow I probably won't get to play till the next day since my internet is so slow it will take overnight to download.

They haven't said anything about a patch. This will probably just be a downloadable DLC

They posted a reply to someone on facebook saying there would be a community update patch included with the first tracks released. Maybe It will just download when purchased. Wait and see I guess.

One thing I'm curious about is where they said the tracks will be available for free ride and "uncover parts you've never seen before." It would be cool if they included the side tracks that are there in real life at some of the tracks. Unadilla as an amateur track right beside it, Millville has a track a the top of Mt Martin, and Red Bud has a side track that I know of.

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up in the PC community. We'll be starting our pre-season for the AMA Pro Motocross Championship with Thunder Crest tonight, July 22 at 9:00PM ET. Top 3 riders will be awarded a DLC code for the upcoming AMA Pro Motocross Championship sponsored by Rainbow Studios.

The following week, riders will have a second shot at getting access to the AMA Pro Motocross Championship DLC by competing on Cedar Mesa, July 29 at 9PM ET. Top 10 riders from the main event to receive codes to new Championship.

Race day breakdown:
3 practice laps
5 lap qualifier (fastest lap moves forward)
10 lap main event

As some may remember I have posted here a couple of times about my struggles with this game. I have tried different setups and just never could get a good feeling for the game. I have always played in third person view. When I have tried first person view in other MX games I would almost get a funny feeling. Almost light headed or motion sickness.

So tonight I watched a YouTube video by Resolute Kraken and he had just got the game and was giving his first impressions. He was saying in the video how good the first person view was so tonight I gave it a try. I cannot believe what a difference it made. It is like a whole new game. I have not had that much fun in a long time. No issues using first person at all. Not sure what the problem was when I tried it in other games but no issues tonight.

So anybody that has not tried first person view give it a shot. You might be really surprised.

Bring on the Nationals. 😝

Just bought the add-on. $22.45AU. 'Installed it'... yet the tracks arent available in game.

Checked in free ride and under Nationals. There's nothing went into the Xbox menu for the game (updates/ready to install) and there's nothing extra to add to the game. No updates. No ready to install tracks.

Yet under my add-ons section it shows up as downloaded along with the other DLC. Has anyone else had this issue? Or better yet managed to get it to work?

As far as I can tell, its not available on Xbox yet. I couldn't even find the add on to purchase it. I'm guessing Microsoft will release the update & DLC later today.

For me, it showed up to purchase when going to the game store and viewing all the game add-ons. It had today as the release date and had no issue charging me for it and downloading the 10mb DLC file.

I assume there will be a game update that adds it separate to that. I just expected it would be available when the DLC was available to buy. Pretty sure all previous DLC content I bought worked that way.

Interesting, I went through the xbox game store this AM and it definitely wasn't in there with the rest of the DLC available for the game.. I wonder why?

No, that is a great DLC with 4 great MX tracks, but hometown nats came out a while back.

Anyways, here was the last thing I really wanted to contribute here. If you liked "realistic" tunes on v.2.5, then you will enjoy this. I spent months cracking v.2.6 tunes, whether you like me or not, at least give it a try. I promise you will enjoy it and it will keep you from sending all 10 commandments at once

I ran this setup this morning and it was an awesome base setting. I went up on the tires and engine slightly and it was perfect for me. Slowed the game down a lot and made corning/jumping super satisfying. Great work man!

Yeah, I left my One X with my buddy to do the DLC and he said no where in sight this morning. Oh well. We gotta be patent. Prob on the Microsoft/PS/Steam end.

Not sure how it is for Microsoft but sometimes PlayStation doesn't release the content until anywhere between 1 and 5pm EST. So I didn't really expect it yet. So it's in Microsoft/Sony's hands right now guys

You guys crack me up this has been gone over several time every time dlc is being released. It depends on Sony and Microsoft they update there stores every tues and Thur so your waiting on them to update there store. It’s out of nordics hands for a time it’s coming out

I just paid for the dlc and they took my money but no tracks up yet. Anyone know what time? Is it another update or what? because the dlc download was only 10mb

the "cheater tune" is fine. The heavier chassis feels more realistic to me anyways, 450's are heavy in real life and a lot of inertia. Also you can do every whip with a heavy chassis too it's just a little different.

Ive actually found that with heavy chassis and low suspension you can rip inside ruts in 2nd and get low almost drag your bars sometime

Well I was one of the ones who played it once at release and never touched it again but after hearing of the updates and dlc nationals I had to give it another go. I spent a couple of days on it now and it is a lot better than it was at release. I am starting to mess with tunning and just getting the flow of it a little better each time I play. I've been on MXGP pro lately so world of difference with all out. It takes time find your comfort level on these games. I am enjoying being able to whip again. Cornering is too fast in my opinion and yet cornering too slow on Pro. Overall this game isnt as bad as I thought it was. Just have to give it some time and effort. I am just happy we keep getting dirtbike games and DLC content to go with them!

it’s funny all the people who are liking the game now lol. i’m talking about youtube comments too. i mean yeah the game has improved quite a bit but it’s not game changing. the gameplay before the changes was just a matter of learning how to play the game to do what you want it too, with changes that made it even better each time they dropped a patch. the game has been as good as it is since arenacross dlc came out. unless you just can’t seem to have fun with a dirtbike game with every type of track you could want. it’s not THAT much different. yeah there’s been graphics improvement and the 2.6 update with the chassis but it’s not different enough imo for someone to have hated the game enough to not play it, and then and liking it now. you’re just playing the game now cause of the national dlc. youtubers saying the games better now on the national dlc cause of the tracks yet the hometown nationals and the AX dlc suited the game exactly the same. seems we’re at the point now where everyone starts to like the game now cause of some track dlc lol. it’s so funny to me. the only difference is you decided you actually want to put time into the game and to give your brain the time it needs to get used to a new game and everything that comes with it. from “trash” and “garbage” to reinstalling it lol. it’s good tho i’m glad people are liking it finally. no one ever said it was a perfect game.

you guys hate the game so much, so rainbow made some sick tracks and got your asses to give them $15. i’m living in the twilight zone i swear lol

Bought the tracks, they took my money, but no tracks in the game... also to add, the menu system in this game fucking blows.. can’t stand it. Anyways if someone figures out why the tracks aren’t showing up please let me know..
